CTHULHU: So, here we are Kody5 sitting down for the first time since your return. You've recently come back to erepublik. How long of a break did you take? What brought you back?

Kody5. I took a break from politics for a few years. I think last time I was hyper active was with fingerguns as her media director, and I was active in the Federalist Party. I spent a lot of time on erepublik. I have memories of passing out on my laptop watching irc and directing votes for the ATO operations almost all night. I came back hoping to make more memories like that and I enjoy most of the people who are still here.

CTHULHU: What is your erep resume when you were active and since you've come back?

Kody5. In the past my first national job was the DHS (Dept of Homeland Security) director under Paul Proteus. After that I've been CoS, MoFa, MoD a few times, media director, and I believe VP once. I always wanted to be more of a background guy. I have helped run multiple campaigns but was never the star of them. Now I've worked mainly in the MoD staff under Thee Dude. Its not as intensive anymore, we don't really buy damage from mercs like we used to, its very MoFa like with a side of orders directing.

CTHULHU: What are your specific accomplishments and/or qualifications to lead our great nation?

Kody5. I think with erep its more of a combination of experience rather than anything specific. I've spent a long time in irc/discord/telegram in all of the various chats so thats definitely helped me. If you want something specific I guess I'm most proud of my time as the DHS director years ago. Thats something I didn't have a lot of help with and most presidents just let me do whatever I wanted cause it was such a boring job.

CTHULHU: Have you been working with Thee Dude and Herr Vootsman closely? Have you been involved in our planning and execution on Discord and Telegram?

Kody5. I am in all of the channels with Voots and Dude, in which they talk with alliance members to plan operations. I have worked with Voots and Dude the entirety of this current cp term. Everything is run on telegram and not discord.

CTHULHU: Have you been able to meet any of our allies in Asteria and beyond? Any notables that have been particularly friendly?

Kody5. I've joined the Asteria alliance channel and met everyone there. There are still a few familiar faces around and my old account was friends with many of them already. I met the Serbian mofa Marko who I'm pretty sure I knew from way back. I also believe I knew a few of the Bulgarian delegates and they've been pretty cool as well. I still have old contacts with Russia and a few other countries that have now become enemies so thats always fun.

CTHULHU: Can you give us a quick synopsis of the current game meta?

Kody5. The current game meta is very much telegram/discord. There isnt enough communication ingame which i hope to rectify with articles and communication. The planning is very much done on telegram which i dont want to change. I just want to convey whats going on to the public better.

CTHULHU: Can you elaborate a little bit on the state of the game, as it relates to Asteria and Code?

Kody5. I think Code probably has more dmanage but its very close. We trade blows and thats kind of how it always is. I think what helps Asteria a lot where we're involved is the amount of cores we have as a country. It really helps smaller nations that need it to stay unwiped

CTHULHU: Where do you see the eUSA in 1-2 months? What about 5-10?

Kody5. In 1-2, in terms alliance wise, i dont see much change. The same with the 5-10 month range. I dont envision massive change simply because the game has become much more simple, stagnation is a by-product of the game now. Change comes when it comes and its not something that can easily be predicted.

CTHULHU: Do you have any specific programs or incentives to help the eUSA's citizens? Would you like to revamp anything existing?

Kody5. Currently there is just GIMP. I would like to take a look at adding more of a payout if the country can afford it. I can't promise new programs but i will definitely take a look and see if we can fund new ones or not. I'd like to see if we could fund cheap housing for a few people. I want to work with Paul and add games and contests that will come with rewards if elected.

CTHULHU: cake or pie?

Kody5. I like chocolate graham cracker cake

CTHULHU: Anything you'd personally like to say to our ecitizens? Or personal notes you'd like to share about yourself?

Kody5. The only personal note I would like to impress on everyone is that I have an genuine interest in running this country well. I have the time, the activity, and the knowledge required to do it well, and that is why im running. Im not running to be a filler president or anything like that. Im here to make a my mark and be a positive influence on the game as a whole.
