Fellow Citizens of the Swiss Confederation,

I would like to introduce myself since it is a tradition after taking office. My Erepublik nickname is Uros012 and some people know me by my previous nickname Uros95, which I still use on IRC. I’ve been playing Erepublik since September 2009 and I consider myself a fossil. I don’t really remember the exact date I joined this awesome Swiss community, but it was year 2011. Since then, I’ve been active in politics, media, military and a bit in economy, which I don’t get a thing about. Last month I served a term as President of the Swiss Confederation and this month I will hold the position of the Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. I look forward a good-working and productive term and I would like to thank our new-elected President, Joseph Rich, for the trust while appointing me for this position.



Now to business. Soon after taking office, I’ve been in talks with the President of South Korea and Hungary clearing out some matter regarding our relations. The President of South Korea supported the idea of our Federal Assembly on the introduction of a rent payment for keeping two Swiss regions under their control. After the scheduled meeting of the Federal Council tomorrow, we will finalize a proposal to the Federal Assembly regarding the rent payment and taxes. Soon after a debate, we will have a treaty ready to be signed. The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his wish for both countries to continue to have friendly relations which started last month after our communication with the Hungarian Administration increased.

Root Secretary General published an article three days ago regarding the situation Root countries are currently in. Also, Root has elected a new leadership and it looks like this:
