Greetings bros,

It gives me great pleasure to announce the return of EZC Media!

This means that you can expect one article a week from me regarding all things EZC, how the MU is functioning, what we're up to and articles that are simply themed around EZC. In that vain Deepchill has asked me to announce a contest for EZC members to spur activity on this front. To participate simply check the daily briefing on day 2170 and follow the instructions!

So aside from announcing our return to media, what has EZC been up to? Just the usual, regularly topping the leaderboards for overall damage,

and number of kills.


How have we been managing this?

First, EZC only accepts exceptionally active citizens into its MU, helping it to maintain an incredibly active military unit feed, and forum. Once we've got the exceptionally active members we make sure they are well supplied, Easy Company Soldiers receive funds based off how many kills they made in the previous day, and there is always a Combat Order running. These supplies are distributed by a crack team of QM's, run by the best in the business Harry W.Hill. On top of this Easy Company has frequent contests and giveaways to foster a community spirit and help those who need it.

So Easy Company keeps its soldiers active and well supplied, but a weapon is only worth as much as the man wielding it, and Easy Company makes sure the men wielding its weapons are well trained and well disciplined. This is accomplished with one of the most extensive and well put together source of training materials in erepublik, known in EZC as the military fitness academy which can be found on the EZC forums. We also offer what I like to think of as a nice "enrichment program", also known as the Screaming Eagles. 1st Regiment is now home of our elite members. These GOW** or higher soldiers are sent out on special missions, are also entitled to unlimited supplies at all times (not only on battles picked by the Commander) and have supplies dropped everyday without filling out any request documents. It is home of the Academy award winner for best fighter Gnilraps.



Alright gather round children, and prepare for a Halloween tale passed down from my father to me, and from his father to him.

It was a dark and stormy Halloween night not unlike this one...the members of Easy Company had just finished preparing for their traditional trick or treating trip. The soldiers were decked out in their best Halloween costumes, each one serving to prove that EZC took all military unit functions seriously, especially the Halloween exercise. Deepchill, Easy Company's fearless commander surveyed his troops as they stood in the Easy Company conference hall.

"Buce, get up there and let them know the event is starting. We need each of them to split into squads of 6 and begin going house to house to collect candy, it is absolutely vital to our war mission." Buce, wearing a hilarious pacman costume quickly saluted and made his way to the podium.

"Greetings men, tonight's the night that we've been training for for the last 2 weeks. In a few short minutes we will be moving out in squads of six to collect candy, candy which shall be used to retain newbs crucial to the war effort, so check your gear and prepare to move out."

Buce, left the podium and met up with his squad just outside the conference hall. Dogpyle, Trekker Tlumak, EpsilonXi, What4, and Orrrm were there waiting for him. They were an impressive group, wearing Dora the explorer, ghost buster, Lord of the Rings, Wilfred, and slutty nurse costumes.

"You guys ready to move out" Buce asked."

"Hell yes we are" Dogpyle said as he moved began towards their squads designated area for trick or treating, tucking his rifle into what little fabric his slutty nurse costume had as he moved towards their objective. EpsionXi quickly followed suit, "ya lets get this show on the road".

Buce and the others quickly started after Dogpyle and Epsilon, together they managed to secure a record amount of candy from the various houses along their route. They had chosen their tactics carefully and weeks ago had begun taking singing lessons. Now they were an acapella machine, winning the hearts and minds of those they encountered. Things were going quite swimmingly until they came to one house which was run down and decrepit.

"Do you think its even worth visiting?" asked What4.

"Easy Company and the US need as much candy as it can get What4, it is our duty to trick or treat at every house along our route" replied Buce.

As they walked towards the house they saw a barn, previously obscured by trees come into view. Over the entrance of the barn there was a sign which read



Trekker strode into the barn calling back as he went,

"Buce is right, this is our last house anyway once were done we can head back to base and get some hot cho-" Trekkers voice abruptly cut off, quickly followed by a scream that rent the night air. The rest of the squad quickly advanced into the barn, pulling their rifles from their costumes as they went. Upon entering the barn they were struck by the all consuming, all encompassing darkness of the place. The group activated their lights and moved forward, searching for Trekker. The barn was filled with crudely drawn stick figures of a man wearing a crown, and had the distinct stench of failure.

"This is really starting to creep me out Buce, we need to find Trekker and get the hell out of here". Just then Terkker came tearing out from around a corner, running right into dogyple.

"Its worse than you guys think, this is his barn".

Before any of them could move a great lumbering beast came out from around the same corner that Trekker had come from moments earlier. It truly was a sight to behold, its beady eyes squinting at them, raising its head to sniff in their direction.

"You smell like elitists!" bellowed the beast, as it began running towards them. The group immediately began a hasty withdrawal, with Orrrm shouting in a rather cliched way,

"RUUUUUN!". The rest of the squad needed no further encouragement.

"We don't have anything with enough firepower to take that guy down, we need to put some distance between him and us and radio EZC command for backup."

"Don't worry Buce, I've got this we've just got to get him outside" said dogyple, as he pressed a strange button on a wristwatch he was wearing, shaped like a woman. Buce had no breath to spare to ask questions as they made a mad dash for the entrance of the barn. Dodging piles of broken dreams and shattered hopes the group emerged from the barn and into the street. Leaning on his knees and breathing heavily

"I hope you've got a plan here Dogpyle cause by the sound of it hes right behind us" said What4.

"Don't worry she'll be here." he replied.

"Dogpyle who are you tal-" Buce was cut off as the growing sound of a helicopters rotors drowned him out. Emerging from over the trees an Apache helicopter appeared, its machine guns AND missiles trained on the entrance of the barn. The beast emerged roaring its defiance at the helicopter, but its roar was drowned out as the guns began firing, and bullets AND missiles rained down upon the beast. The beast was engulfed in a wave of smoke and debris, which once it cleared revealed nothing except for a newly created hole in the Earth.



The squad advanced towards the clearing on the other side of the trees where the helicopter had set down. As they reached the helicopter the doors opened and Bia Pandora strode out.

"You called?" she asked Dogpyle.

"I knew I could count on you." laughed Dogpyle.

"Alright I'm starving, lets go get some of that hot chow." said Trekker.
