Hurray!!!!

Long ago, I do have an elifetime aspiration (Before I edeath). That is to create a company. I brought a company in japan long ago, but just to sell it at the same price. Hahaha, I was lucky. After that, I just eyed the market here and there for a short while. After a year of waiting, I save up to 94gold ++ only. 🙁

During this time, i was occupied extensively by my own RL research project. Thus, I reduced my erep activity to only clicking on important things (Click on ‘forum: post since last visit’, check latest news in-game, comments, work, training, and rewards), to the point that was everything done on within one hour per day. (It also reflected how our media is as well. : ()

Since the occupation of the eUSA, it leaves me with a peculiar situation. I am still working in US’s company, the salary is in USD. 😃 LOL. It still amused me to no end. However, it also forced me to have more clicking per day to get food from eUSA. I am sorry Richi, I am still quite reluctant to throw away this ‘amusement’, even though of what I promised you. 😛

I came across richi’s articles. A thought occurred to me ‘what should I do with the little gold I had in my account??’ ‘How about, just do what I want with what I had regardless.’ It was a selfish thought, but I just did it. (I am just too lazy to wait and watch the markets, If I wait still, I would do nothing as well. )

And the Two Companies were born, using my own game character account: Zee exploration food & Yae exploration grain.

Thoughts on Grain and Food.

The problems I have for these two was the problems I had with this “chicken first? Or egg first?”
Along the searching, I found that the either these two over-production will pronounce end to the company (that’s generally well known). So far, i have absolutely no way of knowing the supply and demand of this two in any nation, including eMy (although I believe it is easier to figure out this in eMY only). This is partly the reason why I created two companies in eMY (fewer anomalies to consider, for now). 😛

The companies I created were not to earn lot of profits to me. It was targeted just to earn just enough to self-sustain. However, I do experience losses at first trial, expected. Well, at least I have 3 good employees. I promise you this; I will run these companies until I end up losing 20 gold in either company.



Thought on erep economic system??

Hmm… Let’s see, my first hand experience told me that erepublik system is monotonously simple, but at the same time it is hard. Ironic? LOL, I found it so.

In erep, there is no way to compare between this product and that product. There is no trust from the costumers towards the certain company brands. There is no control of the prices of the products in the markets. The only trust that exists was the “bond” between employer and employees (it could be money, it could be relationships). This make this game simple and everyone can do this too. There are mainly a few parameters that affect the product’s price in market and the salary of the employees, that is: monetary market trades, raw materials price, raw materials supply, taxes, and number of citizen in this nation.

I felt that most of the companies in eRep are compete solely on between the cheapest products and best job offered. And smart players managed to strike balance between cheap products price, employee’s salary, and own profits.

However, though it seems simple, but there is one unpredictable factor that makes this game hard to do business. That is human factor. For example, your company is being trolled by the human-controlled multies. Or there is a certain “evils businessman”. Or suddenly being conquered by another nation.

Note: i always wanted to open a company that has a log for others to see.
