[Evry4POTUS] Four For Fighting

Day 1,687, 23:33 Published in USA USA by Evry

Hello yet again America,

I’m prepared to announce the 4 people in my cabinet for Team Killing. This will include the DoD and the NSC. Check out my recent articles located heck out my previous articles so far for this campaign here, here, here, here, here, and here.

As a reminder, my Vice President in charge of this team will be Ralph Ericson.

Ralph Ericson (or RalphyNoPants on IRC) has been Secretary of Defense for the past 3 months and has shown he has a great eye for the big things. He has been taking care of the recent change to the War Module to divisional warfare and would be the best person to help his replacement fill his shoes as well as help with Vanek’s replacement in the NSC. He also has a heck of a lot of previous experience within the Defense Department and is a perfect fit as my Vice President of Defense.

Next up will be the announcement of my CO-NSC Directors. I went with two choices for the NSC due to the need to constantly have someone from the NSC online to direct our troops and set battle priorities. I have selected Potato134 and ErrOrka

I’ve picked two people as co-directors of the NSC instead of the traditional one person due to the need for near constant need for activity and the fact that it’s nearly impossible for one person to constantly be online, except Vanek who will be sorely missed. Potato and ErrOrka (known as Sugarfree on IRC) are both relatively new to the executive branch and may not be as experienced as some of the other picks for my cabinet posts, however, they won’t be on their own with plenty of people experienced in military strategy and battle prioritizing in my cabinet.

I’m also ready to present my selection for Secretary of Defense, Cerb

Cerb has done it all. He’s been President in both the eUS and in Australia, Secretary of State and Defense, Minister of Defense in Australia and Cyprus (same position as our Secretary of Defense), helped found Rogue Squadron, ST6, USAF, and Mobile Infantry. He also did a stint as EDEN SC as well as holding various other positions throughout the government. Cerb definitely knows his way around the Defense Department and will surely do a spectacular job as Secretary of Defense.

I would also like to address some recent news coming out of the USAF. Lately Israel Stevens’s administration has started making some organizational changes within the USAF including the transfer of some soldiers from the Air Force to the new Rogue Squadron as well as the installation of a new CO for BootCamp. I actually agree with both of these moves, to some degree. However, the actual execution of both changes happened with no collaboration with the Senior Officers of the USAF. Boot Camp’s officers and senior officers weren’t notified that they were getting a new CO that had never even been in BootCamp before, roughly 3 or 4 hours before it was announced to the country via the WHPR. Most of them hadn’t heard until they read the announcement in the article.

I have been in various military branches nearly all of my eLife, and have been a Senior Officer within the US Armed Forces nearly from its inception. I know how things work there and what can be done to improve upon it. The one thing that the US Armed Forces needs the most help with is probably communication and that will be my goal for the DoD for the month. Cerb and I will work very closely with the branch leaders to ensure there are no miscommunications or other avoidable errors.

This concludes the announcements for this article. Expect another article tomorrow outlining the deputies and program directors that have been picked so far. There are still some open positions remaining. If you would like to apply for any open position apply here: http://tinyurl.com/TeamSmile.
