Ministry of Economics:
- Dutch Chamber of Commerce
The definition phase of the chamber is commencing today. Initial talks on what the chambers role and responsibilities should be are being held in the forums. The chambers IRC channel is open to the public (#Chamber)
- Statistical Analysis
Data collection is being done, currently looking at the best formats for comparisons. Ideally want to start publishing a weekly update on the economical situation of the country detailing thisn like exchange rate changes, import products and their prices and buying power. First article released pinned on Wednesday the 28th.
- Entrepeneurs Helpdesk
Place under the chamber for now. New entrepeneurs can contact Markus Bell OR get in touch in the #Chamber IRC channel. Under review if it needs to be split off.
- Evaluation of the state companies to be carried out over the week following queries regarding the opening and closing of them.
MoSC:
Last week has been a quite one for MoSC. The ministry continued it's work in managing the companies. Two companies we're moved from Defense org, back to Statecompanies. This to ensure better management and a better overview on costs and effectiveness. And at last we started our evaluation on how we think the companies should function after the V2 update. Those results are expected in a few days.
Also, this ministry is always looking for new managers. So if you are interested in a job as statemanager send a message to IlPadrino.
Defense:
The defence team is currently planning some things for v2:
NKCSS is currently helping Refl3x to make a "HexSimulator".
We are planning to make a colony abroad for (some of) the elite as home-base because in v2 the longer distance you travel the higher the Q of your moving ticket must be. This would become too expensive if a big % of the battles are at the other side of the globe.
eBelgian Affairs:
As you could have read in the news i made the final proposal to the eBelgium government. I have to say that i am pretty disappointed in the eBelgian government for their lack of interest in the negotiations. I believe the eUNL did their best to come to a good proposal, but when the other party seems to refuse to work on negotiations, well there was no other option for us than to come with our last proposal.
The discussion and voting about the proposal are in progress. However when we agree to donate the gold, we still wait for the answer of the eBelgian government before we donate.

Home Affairs has been working on the referendum, the congress vote can be found here.
State Secretary Dutchclass has also been working on the research branch, much work still has to be done.
