What is congress talking about?
Congress is currently going over ways of funding government - this has come about after the passing of the 6% Work Tax. Whether to have a 6% Work Tax to raise money or to lower the tax rate and make the eUK a place for economic players - increasing income through economic based players coming over and running their companies here.
Though there is much more to the matter which is why I am inviting congress to use this article to debate in public on this matter.

Any particular reason or is 6 your favourite number?
6% is the rate we had before the French attacked, it made sense to go back to pre-French rates when I proposed it in Congress.
Hopefully with a high tax rate we'll be able to get a good income for a while and then enough money that the government decides to use it to protect us in the future.
Someone in the Congress message mentioned 6% was still a profitable tax rate for the people (if you make profits at other rates).
Having a low tax rate makes little sense when people keep complaining the government has no money.
Also with the high chance of being invaded again in the near future (the only reason we got our regions back is because France wanted to reset determination) we need the money, and nobody is going to think about coming to the eUK whether we have high or low taxes if we are likely to lose our bonuses in the near future. That is why I said review later, if we manage to go several weeks without the French attacking again we can think about lowering it.
Think about lowering it? Surely this contradicts the first requirement of eUK congress which is the inability to think.
Don't think about lowering it, do it!

I'm still not really entirely sure how I feel about the tax rates.
It's all well and good saying "let's save like a million" but in the end once we get that it's probably not gonna do enough. If we need some MegaCOs™ we're just gonna burn through it pretty quick.
It needs a lot of thought, can we get a Huey essay on it?
