Speaker’s Corner

Eh, stuff got in the way of me doing an analysis of low turnout congress members 😨. Now the Speaker elections are done I will be starting the nominations for the new committees. They have been reduced in size so its only fair to start from scratch, although as we are so close to a congress election I will postpone it until after the new congress members are elected. So the people who put themselves forward are definitely in congress to take up their spot if they win. It was good having to run against for the Speaker election so thanks to Addaway for taking part and thanks to Woldy for carrying out the vote. It wouldn't be right if there were no alternative.

When Woldy gives us the speaker results I'll be doing an article on all of the Congress people's turnouts. We have quite a few who have voted in every vote (mainly from two parties though) and only a few who rarely turn up - I think we have 2 Congressmen who haven't voted in anything. It's a good term overall compared to other ones.

Yeah, it seems when we are limited to 20 or 30 parties actually have to prioritise the good ones.

Agreed. With the increased powers of the speaker, it was important that whoever would hold them had an affirmative mandate.

Regards Congress elections, can I move that if the eUK does end up without a congress that we simply ignore the game? Say act as if a 20/30 man congress is elected and work out which parties got which number of members (since an election would have happened). As the ingame buttons are done by woldy there's nothing stopping us
