[eSwiss MoFA] Interviewing Prince of Austria (Nebula Leader)

We are delighted in sharing with you this short interview. The player known as Prince of Austria kindly agreed on giving us the opportunity to ask some questions.

I contacted him through PM ingame. He was wondering what kind of interview this would be. I answered it will be political, i will act what I pretend to be: eSwiss MoFA. He seemed satisfied.

Ok, Let’s go into it! Prince stopped his duties like the current leader of Nebula alliance and answered what we show you below.


1. Introduce yourself shortly please

PoA: Hello everyone this is Prince of Austria speaking, I’m currently CP of Austria and I held some other positions too back in the days, when I had more free time. Current Nebula leader and other than that your average Joe.

BTL: surely you have an extense curriculum vitae in the game, we won’t ask you further regarding this aspect

2. Like a leader of an alliance, what do you think about the presence and work of most active alliances nowadays?

PoA: Well if you ask me alliances were worth more back in the days, 2010-2015/6. Mostly because back then there were no “farming” battles, training wars. It really mattered who is your friend and who is not. And you could count on them with your life pretty much. Also there were more objectives because the game mechanics weren’t as advanced as they are now. For ex. there was no Air Strike so one couldn’t just attack someone right in the minute. Had to make a path, and then count the bonus resources and everything. Now it’s different. I’m not saying that alliances don’t work, but I’d say they don’t matter as much. True friends even break neutrality in order to help you 🙂

BTL: indeed, people like us, old players, lived through the experience of changes in the game and I still keep wonderful memories of the battles between alliances, facing against each other, measuring forces.

3. What is the reality of Nebula at present?



PoA: Nebula was started many years ago and changed many members but it's still active in a manner of speaking. It was always made up from the smaller countries, so we can’t really make a huge difference in the hard battles but we still help out our allies every way we can. Priority number one was and always will be landing a helping hand between the members inside.

4. According to your opinion, which country in the game is the one who makes the things more interesting in:
*Diplomatic affairs
*Military action


PoA:I mean everyone is playing their own game so I can’t really judge. Diplomatic affairs? That still exists? I’m not sure what to answer about this because in the last few years the game became a holding ground for a few “leaders” that troll each other in many ways. I guess troll is the right word to use here. (I’m sure they love each other in RL)

BTL: I think there is some players that use diplomacy to talk to others and solve conflicts. And regarding military actions I recall when Croatia came back to the game and called some old players. Things were fun again, suddenly, Old-fashioned trolling, perhaps? hahaha


5. What are the most interesting players today? what are their virtues?

PoA: Hm.. Trolls? Cancer community? I guess there are a few individuals that make MY game a bit better. I think journalists are quite fun. Reading a good article every now and then is good for everyone right?




6. Make a wish

PoA:I wish the game ends this year. But that was my wish last year too and here we all are…

BTL: Yeah, I know the feeling!!

7. An advice

PoA:Advice from me? I don’t think I’m qualified to make such a statement. Don’t take things too seriously I guess.. And have fun (as much as the game allows us to…).

BTL: I am guilty as charge, Sometimes we forget this is to spend some time and relax!!!

Certainly, these words give us a view of how is our Alliance and the place that eSwitzerland has in the game at present. We are a small country that held good relationships with many countries for long time. We have to keep our values and our style in the game.
