Acerca del Conflicto Argentino-Chileno.

En los orígenes de eRepublik, el mapa no era tal cual lo conocemos hoy. Al principio del juego, muchos países sudamericanos (como Chile, Bolivia y Perú) no habían sido creados.

La mayoría de los usuarios chilenos en eRepublik vivía en Argentina, donde desempeñaron importantes funciones en el Gobierno, en los ministerios y en el Congreso también. Muchos de estos chilenos se agruparon en el partido Movimiento Americano Social. Un grupo más pequeño vivía en otros países de habla hispana o elegían la residencia donde vivían en la vida real. Todos ellos se encuentran con sus compatriotas luego de la noticia, dada el 5 de enero del 2009, de que Chile se uniría a eRepublik a partir del dia 14.



Primer Mes

El 14 de Enero de 2009 el todopoderoso admin crea eChile. Cientos de Chilenos acuden a esta inauguración y se crea el Primer Partido de Chile: Partido Nacionalista de Chile, que luego de las votaciones para presidente del partido, el 15 de Enero, paso a llamarse Chile Unido. El 25 de Enero, los Chilenos aseguran el gobierno ante los TO's, obteniendo la mayoría en el Congreso. El 6 de Febrero es elegido, como el primer Presidente de eChile, -Chuck Norris-. 2 dias después, el 8 de Febrero, Chile confirma su ingreso a PEACE. El 15 de Febrero, 3 de los 5 Partidos existentes son tomados, por los mismos Chilenos, poniendo en marcha la competencia política en el Gobierno. Al día siguiente la estructura del Ejército de eChile estaba organizada, y lista para participar en alguna guerra, apenas se acabara el "Tiempo de Paz" impuesto por los administradores.



El conflicto

En esta época, eArgentina y eChile eran grandes aliados, más allá de las históricas disputas de la RL. Y así fue durante un largo tiempo, hasta hace algunos meses. Chile controlaba los territorios Peruanos, y Argentina le pidió el paso a través de SLA solo por 3 días, para ir a ayudar a nuestro aliado Colombia, quien se veía invadido por las fuerzas Mejicanas y Venezolanas.
Chile se negó a cedernos la región, sin importarle el bienestar del pueblo Colombiano, alegando que no confiaban en Argentina y que además perderían su bonus de 20% en armas (durante 3 días). No importó que el Gobierno Argentino ofreciera resarcir los daños económicos con gold, ni que el HQ de Terra se haya puesto como garante de que Argentina iba a devolver la región; siempre que Argentina pedía el paso, Chile se negaba y decía que el Congreso (con muchos ciudadanos pro ONE) lo estaba debatiendo.

Sin embargo, nosotros seguimos preguntando y teniendo reuniones con ellos (el Gobierno de Chile) por casi tres meses (el paso por SLA era la única manera de tener una guerra, nuestros ciudadanos estaban aburridos, y se corría el riesgo de que abandonen el juego).
Entonces tuvimos que liberar SLA para pasar a través de ella, después de eso nosotros iniciamos una RW en la región, la devolvimos y Chile la tomó de vuelta.

Éste es el comunicado del Ministerio de Defensa Argentino donde se notifica sobre la devolución de la región.

Para ayudar a Colombia fue tarde, ya Croacia había cruzado medio eMundo instalándose en Sudamérica (donde todavía mantienen algunas regiones).
En ese momento, las relaciones entre ambos países ya eran muy tensas.
Nosotros no tuvimos mayores problemas, ya que nos establecimos en Lima, otra región peruana que nos cedió Brasil. Entonces, Unidades Militares polacas y macedonias liberaron las regiones peruanas conquistadas por Chile, y Argentina declaró como NE a Perú, pero esa es otra historia.

Después de todo este problema, el pueblo Chileno, e incluso gente del Gobierno empezaron a pegar contra nosotros en España (si, España!), Paraguay, Perú y Bolivia. De hecho, ellos fueron una molestia en nuestra campaña en España, cuando fuimos para ayudar a Brasil que estaba siendo atacado por dos frentes (Indonesia desde Sudáfrica y España).






Ya en este tiempo, nosotros no éramos más aliados, ni siquiera firmamos más MPPs.
Después de esos meses, nosotros queríamos atacar Nueva Zelanda, pero al mismo tiempo un congresista de chile envió la propuesta de NE a Nueva Zelanda. Por supuesto, Nueva Zelanda no sabía nada, y esta propuesta fue aceptada por los chilenos de todos modos.
Ellos lograron arreglar un War Games o Trainning War con Nueva Zelanda; entonces, en los últimos días nosotros decidimos enviar la Ley de Natural Enemy a Nueva Zelanda porque su WG estaba terminando. Ellos no tuvieron mejor idea que bloquearnos a nosotros, conquistando la única región con la cual limitábamos (Auckland, desde Mid Andes).

El pueblo y el Gobierno argentino estamos cansados de esta situación, y realmente no le encontramos una salida diplomática. En una de las reuniones yo mismo, como Presidente de eArgentina, le solicité a mi par Chilena que atacara Wellington y nos deje Auckland a nosotros, así ellos podrían mantener su WG y nosotros la región que nos interesaba (Auckland, por el bonus de grain).
Ellos en primera medida exigieron dos regiones de Bolivia (bajo control argentino) para tener ellos también su bonus de fruta, las regiones serían Bolivian Altiplano y Chuquisaca and Tarija.
Luego de hablar con los representantes Bolivianos, accedí a su propuesta, con la condición de que durante los días del 22 al 26 Chile cediera una de las regiones a Bolivia para sus elecciones al Congreso (cualquier otra región nos cortaría el puente con nuestras regiones del norte); y la CP de Chile denegó la oferta, y atacó auckland bloqueándonos y protegiendo a un país pro ONE, conocido también como una colonia TOveada por Serbia.

No es muy dificil darse cuenta de que Chile es un país totalmente egoísta: no nos dejó ir a ayudar a Colombia cuando estaba siendo invadida por Mejico y Venezuela; y ahora no nos deja ir a Nueva Zelanda por su estúpido WG, el cual realizan mientras Brasil está borrando (hoy lo logró finalmente) a España del mapa, mientras Rumania pelea con Hungría, etc.
Chile es un país chico y con una población débil, por lo cual malgastan su poco daño (4 veces inferior al de argentina) en unos WG con una colonia Serbia en vez de ayudar a sus aliados.

En cambio Argentina, siempre está peleando por sus aliados, y esto se puede ver en nuestro Boletín del Ministerio de Defensa, donde encontrarán las prioridades de las batallas, e incluso screenshots de nuestras Fuerzas Armadas pegando por nuestros aliados:

Estamos contentos y muy agradecidos con el apoyo que muchos aliados nos están dando a nosotros, en todas sus formas. No estar en una alianza que hace esto más difícil para nosotros, y se vuelve injusto jugar. Es una lástima que un país como Argentina, que siempre es ayudar a los aliados, y poner lo mejor en cada batalla, sea ignorado, trolleado y muchas otras cosas horribles por Chile y por su alianza.

About the conflict between Argentina and Chile

In the origins of eRepublik, the map wasn’t the one we see today. At the beginning of the game some countries weren’t there (Chile, Perú, and Bolivia).

Most of the IRL Chilean players lived in eArgentina, they had important positions in our government, they were ministers and even congressmen. Many of these Chilean players were in the Political Party: Movimiento Americano Social. A smaller group of Chilean guys lived in other Hispanic-speaking countries. But they all got together when the knew that Chile was going to be added on January the 14th (2009)

First Month

On January the 14th, the almighty admin created Chile. Hundreds of Chilean players went to the inauguration and created the first Political Party: Partido Nacionalista de CHile, that after the elections of the 15th, it was renamed to Chile Unido. On January the 25th, they could secure their Congress from TOvers, getting the majority of congressmen.
On February the 6th, -Chuck Norris- was elected as the first Country President of Chile. 2 days later they joined PEACE GC. On February the 15th, 3 out of 5 Political Parties were taken by the Chilean, and this started the Political Competition among them. The next day the organization of the Chilean Army was ready to make CHile participate in a real war, the Peace-time that was given by admins (since they were a new country) was about to end.

The conflict

At this time, Argentina and Chile were great allies, even though the big issues that both countries have in real life. This was like that until few months ago. When Chile owned Peruvian regions and Argentina asked to pass through SLA (Southern Low Amazon) for only 3 days, we wanted this to help our other South American ally, Colombia. Which was being invaded by the Mexican and Venezuelan forces.
Chile refused to give us the region, it didn’t matter if we wanted to help our Colombian allies, they only said they “didn’t trust Argentina”, and they also asked for the 20% bonus for 3 days. We told them we could give them gold, Terra told them that they’d be the guarantee that Argentina was going to give it back, nothing was enough for them. Chile kept refusing, and they kept saying that their Congress “was discussing it” (there was this time that their Congress discussed the issue for one week).

However, we insisted in having meetings for almost 3 months (getting SLA was the only way to have war, we were literally “caged”. Our citizens were bored, and there was a risk of them leaving)

So we had to liberate SLA, after that we RW’d it again and gave it to Chile, as promised.

To help Colombia, it was too late. Croatia had crossed half world to get Mexican regions, and they also could help Colombia (it’s quite illogical that us, being in South America, were blocked from doing it by our “ally”).
At this time, relationships between Chile and Argentina were really tense. We didn’t have any other bigger problem, because Brazil gave us Lima. But the next month MUs from Poland and Macedonia wanted to PTO Peru, but of course, they had to liberate it first. They RW’d all CHilean Regions, and they also RW’d Lima (we had Chimor too), so we NE’d Perú and got all the regions, but that’s another story.

After this issue, people from Chile, and even people from their Government started fighting against us in our battles. They fought for Spain (yes, Spain!), Paraguay, Peru and Bolivia. In fact, they were really annoying in our campaign in Spain, meanwhile we were there trying to HELP Brazil, that is also their ally. Brazil was being attacked by Indonesia and Spain.




We were no longer allies, we didn’t even renew our MPP. After all these months we wanted to attack New Zealand, but a congressman from Chile proposed NZ as NE. New Zealand wasn’t aware, so wasn’t Chilean Government. However it was approved, and it became WG.
In the last days of this “WG” we decided to NE New Zealand. But as expected, they had no better idea but to block us by attacking and conquering Auckland (the only region we bordered).

The Argentinian people and the Argentinian government, are TIRED of it, and to be honest we don’t think there’s a diplomatic way to solve this, we have been trying it for months. In a meeting I asked the Chilean CP to attack Wellington instead of Auckland.
They asked for our Bolivian regions, to get the bonus of fruit, they asked for Bolivian Altiplano and for Chuquisaca and Tarija.
I accepted the proposal (YES, we were willing to do it, even though NZ didn’t belong to them), with the only condition of giving us one region of those two on the 22nd till the 26th, so Bolivia could have congress (it’s under Argentinian PTO). But they refused once again the proposal, and she attacked Auckland. Yep, they were protecting a pro-ONE country, which is also known as the Servian colony.

It’s not so hard realize that Chile is selfish: they didn’t allow us to help Colombia, now they don’t allow us to attack New Zeland because of their stupid WG, that is going-on meanwhile Brazil is busy in a real war in Spain, they’re trying to wipe Spain (and they could o/), Romania has an important war against Hungary, and those are a few of many other important and worth wars, but Chile has the great idea of using their damage in a fake war.

It’s not hard to realize Chile is selfish:

We’re glad and really grateful with the support that many allies are giving to us, in all their different ways. Not being into an Alliance makes this harder for us, and it gets unfair to play. It’s a pity that a country like Argentina, which is always helping allies, and putting its best in each battle, gets ignored, trolled and many other awful stuff by Chile and by its Alliance.
