Here at ESO-HQ we’ve noticed a worrying lack of memes recently. And when I say “we” I mean “I”. And when I say “ESO-HQ” I mean “my computer”.

No matter. Personalities and locations are but trifling details when faced with a dreaded…

MEME GAP!

Obviously this sorry state of affairs needs to be sorted out, and fast. And who better to perform such a crucial public service than a rogue member who hasn’t sought party approval or backing and therefore really shouldn’t be claiming that this is an official directive on behalf of the UK’s number 1 party, which happens to be called ESO?

Exactly. There is no one better.

Yeah? And?
There's only one solution to this crisis (obviously). We need your memes! The eUK needs your memes! Everyone and everything needs your memes! Now.

So send in your very bestist memes; simple huh? Help plug the gap. Make us laugh, cry or - more likely - say “Really? That’s still going?” etc etc.

Use whatever method you feel most comfortable with to send in your favourite memes. Linky action in the comments? Fine. (Er … can’t think of any other ways of sending them in, but if I could I’d mention it here).

That’s all very nice, but what’s in it for me?
What? You mean apart from the warm glow that comes from knowing you’ve helped improve the eUK? Er … well … tell you what, I’ll persuade a couple of people to help decide which is the best meme sent in - probably CheetahCurtis and Sir Jimmy Savile as they rarely seem to have anything better to do. Who knows, I might even manage to blag a prize fund of some sort.

Dude, chill out a bit. Rules are just so … claustrophobic man, you know? However, if you must live your life ruled by The Man, here are some hastily made-up rules for you:

1. Nothing obscene (obviously). Probably best not get this article banned.

2. Your memes must be better and more up-to-date than the awful ones used in this article.
