Hello fellow members of ESO! This article is my announcement of my candidacy for our fantastic and welcoming party. I will try to keep this short and to the point.



Who am I?

For those of you who may not know me (yet), I have been playing in the eUK for approximately 3 years. I have been a member of ESO since it was founded, and here is a summary of my ‘accomplishments’ such as they are:

PP of ESO (multiple times)
vCP of the eUK (under Talon Karrde, a dear friend and fantastic person)
Commander UKSF
Commander ESO Legion
Member of Congress (multiple times)

What will I do as the PP?

1. Maintain and expand support for new players

I will continue in the spirit of past giveaway and other support campaigns targeted towards new players. For an example, see my previous articles here and here. In addition I will encourage the use of the feed and direct PMs to provide mentoring and peer support wherever possible.

2. Media presence

I will release in-game articles once per week at minimum. These will be in the form of personal and party commentary on policy and current events, and round-ups of what has been conducted and accomplished each week.

3. Building the brand

It goes without saying that our voice in the eUK is not as prominent as it once was. There is no single reason for this, but I personally take some responsibility in growing fatigued of the eUK political scene and ceding much of our position due to sheer inaction. This is something that I will work to remedy by building relationships with other parties, communicating with players, and promoting policies that the party believes will better ALL of the eUK. Although recruitment is important, I want to be entirely clear on one thing – I have not, and will not support recruitment for the sake of numbers. Others may believe that numbers alone indicate influence and strength, but I want to work at building a party that people want to join voluntarily, rather than just for the promise of free things and based on fabrications of past wrongs by other ‘evil’ components of the eUK.
