So, today I've decided to do my role as spokesman/congressman and go over recent events that have happened in ESO.

Every Single... Worker?!?

So, very recently we at eso have been discussing whether or not we should agree to a merge with WRP. Nothing is certain and as far as I know the 2 PP's are just talking about it and it's along way away from being finalized.

Over the past day or 2 our PP, Mr Cherry, has asked us what we would be willing to change in order to accommodate our WRP friends. He gave us the option's of:
1, Name Change
2, New Logo
3, Alternating PP's
4, Update the ESO Constitution

When these option where made in a PM it was clear that the name change and alternating PP's were never going to pass. The reasons being was that the name ESO is our pride and we can't just sell it away for more members and I think WRP will feel the same. But we disapproved of alternating PP's

ESO Congress Team

ESO has made a PM for its congress members (including the WRP and PCP candidates) to discuss laws proposed and to help refine laws and ect. However, during the first day of the election Frix made a rogue law to impeach the CP. After hearing ESO's disapproval he write an apology article and we decided to forgive and forget. Has been removed... not sure why

Frix didn't do all bad though. He helped the WRP candidate Rafay write and submit his "National Savings Act" which they put forward to congress and got the 6 required sponsors to put it to a debate. It's due for a vote soon. To see the proposed law look here.

We are currently in the middle of debating what the new import tax should be if congress decided to change it. The discussion was brought up by Aleks and seems to have spiked interest in the congres PM's. We'll see where this goes in a few days.


CP Elections

ESO has had its CP preliminary and has decided to support MIK for the upcoming CP election. We had 2 choices on our vote. MIK and aleks both ran but MIK won with a majority vote. His first campaigning article has some interesting ideas... especially the 3 way CP one. This might cause a clash in opinions but I would like to see how it all plans out. A few other little things happened like ESO Yak said that he's going to quit the game cause it was too addictive and he needed to get on with RL, that was kinda sad. we manage to reach 3rd place for a while, something ESO hasn't done in ages. And I think that just about sums it up. Good night all o7
