Join the new world

Hi all,

As you may know ESO got a cracking result in the Congress Elections by getting one seat. All I gotta say about that is that I hope that seat is heat proof, cos I’m gonna be sitting on it! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Now to the main part of this article. Yesterday, I made a gForm for ESO members to fill out and, asked them to tell me what they want from congress. Also asked was whether they support a benefit bill (a reworking of the National Basic Income) being put to Congress.

The first question was, What does ESO want from congress? The answers were as follows:

FaP: Lulz from Parliament pls.
Jimmy: 1. Legalize prostitution 2. Everybody should have a pet panda 3. Import Mr Kant
VoodooMike: A meaningful work tax increase to 5%, Official recognition for pandas
Max: Government support and promotion for the NHS, Introduction of a National Basic Income,
Comprehensive reform regarding the support of new players, Set up an Education group and set up a current affairs group
Popovic (a reworked version): Vote yes to MPP’s from heavy tanking countries, and make smart suggestions
CheetahCurtis: When policies are released push them, our country back and T-Swizzle gifs…
Elvis Trout: raise taxes and more loans and grants
Me: Work tax to 5%, More loans and grants and ESO policies pushed.

The second was whether people support a Benefits/National Basic Income bill in Congress. The results were:

FaP: Yes
Jimmy: Need more info
VoodooMike: Yes
Max: Yes
CC: Yes
Elvis Trout: Yes
Me: Yes

So yah can see that ESO support a Benefits Bill. So I better get to work… Also it seems a tax raise is popular and so is lulz. A few others seem able to be worked and may be put to Congress. An update on what I did will be released at the end of the term, and the middle.
