Good News people of the eUK Rock Paper Scissors is back like you have never seen it before. ESO has sponsored an eUK Rock Paper Scissors tournament. Let's finally find out who is the best at RPS, and win lots of money in the process.


Adjudicator
In order to run this tournament there will have to be an adjudicator to manage the tournament. This Tournament I will be the Official Adjudicator, I will also have some help from Sir Jimmy Savile who will act as my Deputy Adjudicator for this Tournament.



The rules are simple you must be a member of the eUK to enter. However I will be an exception to this rule and will be participating in this tournament as an Honorary member of ESO. If you don't like it then manage your own tournament and use your own cc as prize money.

There are two ways to play you can play ingame or on IRC.

In game
In my next Article I will draw up a league Table Please send an ingame message to me. (unless you are playing me, in that case send the message to Sir Jimmy Savile.) Your message description should contain the fixture ie Mr Immanuel Kant vs Plato. Next just number your choices 1-3,your opponent will do the same and the Adjudicator will send a detailed report back to you of how your match went. I wont cheat because I take my role as Global RPS Adjudicator seriously and I hate you all equally. Any accusations of cheating will be taken seriously and screenshots will be provided if necessary.

Playing Via IRC
We have our very own IRC Channel #ESO with our very own RPS Bot to run the game (Big thanks to ApronChef for scripting us a bot).

To initiate a game of RPS, you type !challenge , and then the player you challenged will type !accept or !deny. Once a challenge is accepted the RPS bot will query each player asking for their pick or Rock, Paper or Scissors. Once both submit their choice the Bot will declare the correct side the winner.

Each game of RPS will only play three rounds of RPS, which means that draws will be possible.

Each round of matches will have to be played within 48 hours of the last round being concluded (fixture lists will be published well in advance.) As this is a tournament and not a league the number of Rounds will be determined by the number of players

The first round of games will begin this coming Thursday 25th June.

Points
A win will be worth 3 points. A draw will be worth 2 points. If the losing player wins one round (and loses 2-1) they will get 1 point. If the losing player wins 0 rounds, they get 0 points.

Each match must have one RPS adjudicator presiding over it.



Rating System.
By the end of the tournament each player will receive an official rating. A rating is designed to show how good a player is this rating will increase when you perform better than expected and decrease when you do worse than expected. This grading system will become more useful the more torments and leagues that there are.



There are some large prizes to be won. Here at ESO we decided to match the amount that was offered last tournament so here are your potential winnings.



Not Only could you win these amazing prizes but officially the last tournament never actually finished, which means this is the first official eUK tournament that could actually have a winner.


All you have to do to message me Immanuel Kant and ask to be in the Tournament and I will add you to the fixtures. And you will have the chance to win some large cash prizes and eternal glory. On a computer game from people who have got nothing better to do than play virtual RPS because they lack the friends to play RL RPS.
