I promised to be honest with you before you elected me. Here it is. The straight stuff.
For almost 18 months eSouth Africa has been at war with Brazil. Sometimes we won a battle, sometimes they won a few.
But we are losing the war.
The constant fighting PTOs and invasions by [Pick Aggressor here] is hurting our economy. People are giving up and quitting the game because they see no hope.
Well, I also promised to find a solution to the whole Brazilian question.
We've scheduled a meeting between eSouth Africa, the eUS as mediator and Brazil. Where we will try to work out an agreement favorable to both sides.
We asked the US to mediate since neither sides trust each other.
Yes, I should probably put it in more diplomatic terms, but personally I think it's diplomacy that landed us in this. Too many people saying "Nice Doggy" while looking for a bigger stick to beat him with.
As of this moment I have not had feedback from Brazil, but I sincerely hope they accept our offer.
I intend to stick to whatever agreement we should reach, even if they do not. Somebody has to show them how it's done.
And I'll expect the rest of you to stay honest on such a contract as well.

I would echo what Ines says here. A deal, or an agreement made with Jazar is not worth the paper its written on.

That was my strategy back in the day, but unfortunately peace never came.
There's only one reason why you've recovered Eastern Cape; Brasil and their PANAM mates pushed to the limit by Spain, Peru (a country that never surrenders, maybe you should learn form them) and the NWO guys.
You sign agreements with them, like last time, and 1) they'll break them at first opportunity, 2) you'd be giving them breathing space to focus against the ones who helped you. 3) you'd be surrendering your rightful regions to a hostile aggressor. That gives the impression to any future agreesor that S.A is a bending flower.
Also, this game is about war. That's what keeps the population active and running in this game. What are you gonna do in peace then?? sit down and smell the coffee day after day after day?
That surely will help keeping your population alive...
Also, I lol as "US mediator". A mediator is someone who is imparcial, not the best mate of your enemy he refers to as "Brozil". So much for US mediator... why don't you guys blow your own balls with a trenchgun? you'll save yourselves the time of the "negotiations" and the result will be the same, ROFL.
make MPPs with Hungary and Spain, NE again the brozils and you can put the SA flags into the hands of the Giant Jesus statue : )
