[eRep Statistics] Companies ! New players tutorial !

Day 2,543, 11:21 Published in Belgium Belgium by Franckie18

Dear readers,

Want to know everything about companies ? Here I'm coming !

Firstly, there are 3 types of companies :

Each company products different final products.

There are 3 different final products :

● Food : used to refill your energy bar
● Weapons : used to fight
● Houses : used to have a higher energy limit

Every final product has 7 different qualities, with different propreties for each of them :

The mostly used products are the Quality 5 food (Q5 food) and Quality 7 weapons (Q7 weapons or also called tanks). There's no particulary house used, but there are more Q1 houses on the market and that makes them cheaper.

Every player can produce his own products, but to do this, you first need to go in this part of your menu bar :

Now, you can see your companies page. There's a first part called "my job" with a "work button" (1) which allows you to work for another player and earn money once a day.
Under this work part, you can see the "companies" part, where you can produce your own products.

At the top of this part, there are 3 pressable buttons :
● The "Create new company" button (2)
● The employees button (3) where you can propose job offers so that other players work for you (not worth it at the beginning of the game)
● The Raw material button (4), where you can buy extra raw material. (More information about raw material is coming).

At the bottom of the page, you can see a "Start production" (5) button.
This button allows you to work in your own companies, but be sure you selected your factories with the "work as manager" (5) button. It will create you the products of the same quality as your company. If you want better quality products, you need to upgrade your company with the button just right your company.

Don't wast your gold ! Gold is important !
To spend less gold, be sure that this image on your home page is :

This discount only stays 3 days, and comes unregulary but +/- every 6 weeks.

So when you will upgrade your company, it will look like this (with 45% discount) :

But, to product food, weapons or houses, you need raw material !

Raw material, what's that ?
Raw materials are products that you can buy or create by yourself with a raw material company. These products are needed to make your final products (food, weapons and houses). There are 3 different raw materials, one for each final product :
● Food raw material
● Weapon raw material
● House raw material

But how do we get raw material ?

There are 2 options to get raw material. The first option is to buy it on the market place :

But you can also product it in your own raw material company. You can buy one in the "Create new company" button (2).

The companies that you buy with gold are better then the companies that you buy with money. Also, to produce the same quantity of raw material, you can buy 2 Q3 raw factories for 20 gold, instead of 1 Q5 raw factory for 35 golds, but you will earn more experience points.

Pleas notice that you can't work in any type of house factory !
The houses factories and house raw factories don't allow you to "work as manager". You need an employee for this, but this is very expensive. If you want an employee, you can go on the employees button (3).
Also, here it's better for you to buy a Q5 house raw material factory because you only pay 1 employee (and not 2 if you buy Q3 house raw material factories).

This is were the company's business becomes interesting !
Every country who has free regions (not dominated by another country), has a capital.

This capital can be in trade route with other region if this reagion has a way to the capital (in eBelgium for example : Brussels (capital) is in contact with Flanders, which is in contact with Wallonia. Brussels has thus a trade route with Flanders and Wallonia.).

Every region has his own bonus, it can be food bonus, weapon bonus or house bonus. This bonus will interact in the citizen's companies if there is a trade route (with the capital).

Let's continue my example : There's a trade route between Brussels (the capital), Flanders and Walonia, 2 other regions of eBelgium. The bonus of Brussels is 20% on food, Flanders is 20% on food also, and Walonia 20% on weapons.
So the final bonusses are :
● 40% more food and food raw material produced
● 20% more weapons and weapons raw material produced
● 0% more houses and houses raw material produced

The maximum bonus is 100%.

So :
● A food factory will produce 100+40 food (40 from 40% bonus)
● A food raw material factory will produce 40% more raw material
● A weapon factory will produce 10+2 wepons (2 from the 20%bonus)
● Nothing changes on the houses
● ...

But if you make more food / weapons / houses, you also need more raw material !
The next table shows you the different bonusses and different costs in raw materials.

Don't begin with houses. They're very expensive to buy because you need employees.
Q1 weapons are also not much used, because the damages bonusses aren't good, so nobody is buying it.
So, in my opinion, the best start is food factories, because you can always use your food and there's no negative point to low quality food.

That's it ! Very long article this time ! For me also, 5 hours work !
Don't worry if you don't read everything, but don't hesit to share this article so that new players can use it everywhere on the eWorld.
You can also write what you think that can be better, what's already good, etc in the comments !

Thanks for reading !
