When you face me, you face a citizen of eRepublik. Bringing real life issues in a society like ours can only cause trouble. If you can not see the difference between those two, then the problem is YOURS, so PLEASE take it elsewhere.
With this article I want to share with you all, that from now on, not only I wont participate in such real life propaganda, but I will try to convience as many as I can to do so. Let's block out of this community the plague called racism.

This is a way overdue proposal. I completely agree with it but before you start preaching Andreas you must lead by acting on the message you preach. For all the preaching Greeks are doing (remember I like this proposal) they still refer "macedonians" as "FYROMians." Doesn't this contradict your message "Get racism and real life nationalism out of the game." That is nationalism. If you want to proceed start referring to the Macedonians with the dignity they deserve and call them Macedonians. If you have issue with that in RL then take to RL in game they should be known as Macedonians.

Mega you know that's not true. It is a temporary name don't try to act dumb. Call them Macedonians first before preaching. They aren't going to lose their independence anytime soon so live with it.

Even the M in FYROM stands for Macedonia. Fyromians is racist and derogatory to all players from my country... why do you fail to see that?
If you have issues with the name, at least use something neutral like "people or players from FYROM" until we resolve this idiotic dispute (which is fueled by mindless nationalism from both sides).

Commius.... I am the first one that will give the name Macedonia to the country that is above us .
The problem is that they also use Alexander the Great as their history .
I remind you that their first flag was the star of macedonian empire.
They were forced to change it because by international laws you cannot appropriate an identity that belongs to another person.
Can i create a new country and call it U.S.A ? and then print currency called Dollar ? And also say that here were born great Americans ?

I have met a lot of "Macedonians" (from fyrom) that stated to me with anger that Alexander the Great was MACEDONIAN and that is part of their history .
What do you expect me to do about it ? To say nothing ? Do nothing ?
and say ... "Yea... and Plato and Aristoteles was from Germany ? "
In any case i do agree about not bringing our problems in here . but this is one exception to it it is imposible .
Other than that . i like people from f.y.r.o.Macedonia . They have the same religion as we do and they are good people . I have had lots of friends form there
Great CitizenKein, see that's a reasonable response. The problem with this issue is that these events occurred so long ago with few if any documents left. Most documents that are being used (both sides) were written well after Alexander was alive. There will never be a decisive answer to all of this. I understand you frustration but isn't this a trivial case? Shouldn't you guys have better things to do the argue over an event over 2000 years ago?
Also, I have been toying with you guys. I am an American with a history degree and I know ALOT about the conflict You aren't gonna win this...

and indeed at least as soon we resolve this problem . I am with you and people that call you fyromians should be banned from the game.
Some people from f.y.r.o.Macedonia are stupid also . Those are the nationalists ones and those people like the big Macedonia idea .
But not everyone is like that .
I'm not sure we deal in racism here, it's more about nationalism and even if someone can't accept that, nationalism IS the main driving force of this game.
