Europe


Let's start with the old continent. Yes, Europe is always bustling with activity! So let's start:

Slovenia - Italy

Well a simple glance at the world map will explain everything here. Slovenia, the new kid, is taking regions from Italy like candy from a baby.
Slovenia now holds all three land resources adding a 25% production boost to grain, iron and oil. At the end of the conquest Slovenia will be missing only cattle and rubber. Rubber is a tough one, but Slovenia can easily rent a cattle region from Switzerland.

It looks like Italian regions are "up for grabs", and Serbia and Greece could grab themselves an oil region each- providing them both with the last missing land resource.

Russia - Ukraine

Actually, it's the same story as our previous pair. Russians are just taking what they need slicing through their neighbor like they were butter.
So far, the Russians acquired all Grain (4) and Saltpeter (1) regions leaving Ukraine without bonuses for wheat and gun production.
Russia is now missing cattle, aluminium and rubber. Cattle can be found in North Korea, Moldova or Latvia. Aluminium can only be found in Finland with which Russia can probably sign a rent agreement. Rubber is out of Russia's effective range for the time being.

Poland - Netherlands

Nothing much happening here. Poland just wants to grab the missing resources- oil and cattle. You might think that Poland already has these two resources in its north american colonies but the truth is that the USA can request rent for those regions. Poland currently holds 2 unique resources in Germany, 1 in France, 1 in Czechoslovakia and 2 in USA.

Czechoslovakia

During the last few days Slovakia wiped out the Czech republic from the face of the New World. But this was not a war of conquest but the merging of two nations.
Czechoslovakia is not a new idea as they tried that out in V1 with other merges like UNL (Netherlands and Belgium) and Malaysia with Thailand.

The two love triangles

If you don't like this soap opera you can die right now. Turkey and Greece are in love but Bulgaria cannot stand that fact and tries to take Turkey by force. But that's exactly when Turkey's secret lover Macedonia jumps in:
It has all the elements of a good soap opera, too bad one of the main actors (Bulgaria) will soon cease to exist.
At the moment Turkey and Greece experience a dead stalemate on their front, but things are much more colourful in the two other wars:
Bulgaria just lost it's capital region Sofia with an estimated quarter of its active population. FYR Macedonia now has iron resource within its borders but it seems like Turkey will not follow the lead.
FYR Macedonia has showed a lot of commitment during the 2 battles of Sofia and the battle of Eastern Macedonia: between 150 and 400 people were present on the IRC while the battles lasted. This reminds me of FYR Macedonia's big brother Serbia and I can tell you that FYR Macedonia will be the next powerhouse of the New World.

Asia

Battles around Pakistan

The China-Pakistani war is still active with China loosing the last battle for Jammu and Kashmir so they can let USA conquer that high iron region. USA actually declared Pakistan for their Natural enemy and is ready to conquer the last standing Pakistani region in the continental part of Asia- Jammu and Kashmir. The interesting but unlikely outcome of this war would be a double victory by Pakstan, and elimination of USA from Tibet.
America's idea here is to get the iron-rich region it is missing so it can stop the renting agreement with Ireland.
Both China and USA own one of every resource region of the New World.

Indonesia

Indonesia and Australia signed peace 6 days ago and I can tell you that Indonesia took almost everything they needed from Australia. Indonesia is now only missing one resource: deer. Deer is easily acquired by rent from New Zealand.

Apart from the Australia - Indonesia war story, Indonesia is setting up a base in Southern Thailand, which is the border region with India. The history might repeat itself again in this region of the New World!
