Borg Invasion of the New World


Following the sudden arrival of a hostile alien Borg cube (above), the global situation has rapidly deteriorated. The divided forces of the New World are no match for the technological superiority of this advanced alien race, and humanity is on the brink of enslavement.

Several hours after the abduction of Plato, the governor of eRepublik, the following transmission was received on all television channels:

"We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile. We would have broadcast this sooner but we were encountering ‘headless chicken’ errors for some reason."

We can only wait and hope that the Borg accidentally assimilate more serious programming errors from Plato’s brain.

The crisis has been suddenly averted. Someone has assembled a “bazooka” (after clicking the fight button approximately 2 million times to find the components), and used it to instantly eliminate the Borg cube as it flew overhead. Sadly, this heroic citizen was crushed by 100 tonnes of falling debris. It is believed that such a severe vulnerability could only be a result of incorporating Plato into the Borg collective.
