Dear Bever Dams workers,


A silent social revolution has happened. No, not discussing here the fact that the Bever Dams company citizenship is now tied to Ward De Bever's.

From now on, it's official that Bever Weapons workers are being paid more than others working as hard at our premises. It's just too important to be able to attract level 7 employees with a higher salary (now 28 BEF + bonuses) to the profitable Weapons company. An established level 7 worker at a Q1 company may be frustrated that he's stuck at 22 BEF, but please take into account job stability, guaranteed paycheck increase of 1.5 BEF following your skill level, and the Sunday bonus.

We'll keep the bonuses variable but the same amount for all employees for now. If you come to work regularly with health 100 over the past week, you're entitled to a Sunday bonus with a value of 10, 35 or more BEF (depending on Dams' profitability past week), the same bonus for everyone.

Plus, giving Q1 workers the prospect of a career opportunity in a higher-paid job will in our view stimulate job retention and happiness at the workplace.

The longer-term policy is to gradually increase Q1 salaries to the level of the Q5 company, but it remains to be seen if the Q5 salaries themselves needn't be raised by then...
