[Elite C] Concession Speech

Its beyound all doubt at this point that this election is not for me. A 3 horse race for most of the day has kept things exciting 🙂

I would like to begin by thanking firstly everyone who voted for me in the election. You shared my vision of a more proactive community. Our vision will someday be a reality but for now we must follow the path of the new government.

Secondly, I would like to convey my sincerest gratitude to all the wonderful people who have aided my campaign. To the people who gave me advice and to the people who offered to work with me for a better community.

So what next for me?

I’ve been here for 2 and a half years. In that time I have served in Congress on 14 occasions and served as PP of the IFP more times than I can count! However on a national scale I have failed to make the impact that I would have liked. In the aftermath of this, my 4th failed CP campaign, I think its time I got the message and hung up my political boots.
For the moment however, I have a political commitment should Anthony Colby get elected as his MoFA and will do so with my best effort 🙂

I dont think you should hang up your political boots... not in the slightest.
You've demonstrated great qualities in your latest run.
Unfortunately for you, this was the most competitive CP elections for some time.
Its just a matter of timing in my opinion

Elite C, I really hope you don't hang those boots up, eIreland would suffer a huge loss. You ran one of the best campaigns and are truly a lovely person. A clean campaign too.
