*EDIT* Lottery results *Community Poll Results and Other Stuff

Day 1,432, 11:44 Published in Ireland Ireland by The Irish Community

Happy Saturday to you all. Hope everyone is having a good day, or night if it is night where you are.

First I want to remind everyone of the drawing for the Irish Lottery tonight. Last week we did not have a winner so this week the jackpot will be doubled to 1000 IEP. Not a small prize for an investment of 5 IEP I would say.

PM me with your numbers and donate your entry fee before it is too late for this drawing.

So far this month we have had two drawings per week. I lowered the jackpot per drawing since twice a week would quickly drain the Communities funds. But with more drawings more people have a chance to win. But to win you have to enter.

Secondly I would also like to thank Bhane for his generous donation to the Community of prize money for the Lottery. With his contribution the lottery can continue for a while. Thanks Bhane.

Everyone who reads this paper should also subscribe to Bhanes’ newspaper, Bhane Nuacht. Bhane is going to donate 100,000 IEP to Ireland when he recieves 1000 subscriptions. So sub away people. Shout it out, write articles if you must but Ireland can use this money and everyone should do their part to help us achieve that goal.

Job Performance Poll

Now to the meat of the article. The results of the job performance poll. Now the last time I posted performance numbers I caused a little flap by posting a graphic while not connected to the poll results did give the impression that there were more responses than actually were. Totally my fault so this time there will be no graphics connected to this section.

The poll ran starting Wednesday until last night. There were 23 responses. Not a bad number for a new program such as this but larger numbers are the goal.

So for the job performance of President Sweet Drinker the numbers were

Very Satisfied 35%
Somewhat Satisfied 43%
Neutral 17%
Disappointed 4%

Not bad numbers for our President. 76% total felt at least positive about how our President has done so far while only 17% were either neutral or had negative feelings.

As for the Cabinet the responses were

Very Satisfied 17%
Somewhat Satisfied 30%
Neutral 30%
Disappointed 22%

So while people were generally positive about the President they were mostly negative about the Cabinet. 47% total were OK with how the Cabinet had done while 52% were neutral or negative. The numbers were close but the Cabinet might want to take notice.

Congress

Very Satisfied 17%
Somewhat Satisfied 17%
Neutral 39%
Disappointed 26%

While the numbers were close for the Cabinet the Congress took a hit. Only 34% of respondents were positive while 65% either felt neutral or negative towards Congress. There may be some new faces in Congress if these numbers reflect the will of the people.

As to the direction Ireland has taken this month

Very Satisfied 35%
Somewhat Satisfied 39%
Neutral 22%
Disappointed 4%

So it seems that the citizens of Ireland are happy with the direction Ireland is going this month. With 74% positive and only 26% negative numbers it looks good for President Sweet Drinker. It also looks like Ireland feels all of the good this month is due to the President himself since both the Cabinet and Congress are viewed unfavorably.

Future polls will be more in depth with breakdowns on individual Cabinet members and Congress people. I would like the polls to be held before elections with results posted so that citizens can see who their fellow voters feel and be better able to express their feelings on election day.

Start thinking about who you want to nominate for Community Awards this month. Next week nominations will begin with the first round of choices eventually being narrowed down to your final choices for each award.

I just also would like to add that again there was no winner for the Irish Lottery. So the drawing on Wednesday will be for 1500 IEP. Good Luck.

Thanks

Anthony Colby.
