[EDEN] The fight has just begun

Older players know, that eRepublik is a cyclic game. Great powers rise and fall, the cycle never stops. EDEN managed to nearly annihilate Phoenix, but as expected, Phoenix has since been able to regroup and fight back. We here in EDEN welcome the rise of our favourite enemy, as the game was becoming way too boring without a decent opponent. We now face a world where the battles we fight are challenging and meaningful again.

Some changes have occurred on the map since the last update – Russia has gained back more of its regions, and Germany has done the same. In the meanwhile EDEN has pushed forward in the UK, and held ground on other fronts. It is amazing how the few battles Phoenix won has managed to hype them up as much as it has: keep in mind they're only slowly getting back to having their member countries independent again, which in my opinion is far from actually being on the winning side. But well, let Phoenix rejoice of their victories like a child rejoices of a lollipop - for a while. We have time to bring them back to reality, they way we did earlier by annexing their major countries one by one.

Aside from the propaganda, EDEN has had some internal changes this week, most notably a new HQ has been elected. Without further ado, here is the new face of EDEN and a few words from him:

"November was for Eden a month full of successes, and almost all its main targets were accomplished. It was the end a great cycle that lasted for several months.

Now what we are doing is preparing the basis for a new successful cycle. The strong elements of this alliance have always been the cohesion and cooperation of its members. We are working to improve them more and more. We will work on the efficiency and effectiveness of the forces that we can deploy, in order to maximize the damage, and reduce the reaction time.

But we will not forget, never, that behind any weapons, any damage, any order, there is a worker, a soldier,a commander. We know, after all, that the key factor will be YOU, citizen or soldier of EDEN, and no victory can be achieved if we will not work together with the same goal. Unite we will win. United we will be great, again!"
