I would also like to take the time to congratulate you on this new start for the revamped Irish Army. May your troops fare well in the battles to come, as I'm sure there will be plenty for everyone!

Furthermore, there is a new series we're trying to implement around, and we're hoping that people will come to appreciate it (I know it won't do for everyone, don't worry). It's the second article in the line, and we are trying to make you discover the brotherhood on a more individual level, in that spirit, I will leave the newspaper to my reporter, Chris Demon.

Today, we are taking an interview from Croatia's President, Asklepije with Chris Demon!



I must tell you that i'm very happy that you agreed to let me take you this interview!

First, tell us a bit about yourself, who are you in RL?

I'm 22 years old student of medicine from Osijek.

How did you decide to play eRepublik?

A bit more than a year ago I stumbled upon a post about eRepublik on some forum and I decided to check it out. The game was so boring that I quit only few days after. About a month and a half later I saw an article in a newspaper about eCroatia occupying eSlovenia, so I decided to revive my citizen and here I am.

What was the hardest time you had in the game?

Personally, it was hardest for me after the game went from v1 to v2. I started to lose interest in eRepublik and my will to play, so I was only a step away from quitting again. I was lucky that my friends, which i got to know throughout the game, gave me an energy and a motivation to continue playing... if they were not here for me I would stop playing long time ago.

What is your greatest achievement in your Erepublik life? Are you proud for this?

It's a bit hard question so I would like to point out two things. The first one is when I, as eCroatian minister of informing in time of a danger from new eSerbian-eHungarian PTO, have organized preelections for a new eCroatian president which resulted in election of just one common eCroatian candidate, who opposed eSerbian candidate called Lipec and outvote him properly. The other thing is my first MM medal. I am extremely proud of both my accomplishments.

Your life's most memorable irc conversation? With who?

It's not especially spectacular conversation, neither we were talking about something important. As a young manager I fell in some financial problems so I contacted Argrob for help and asked him to buy one of my companies. He asked what the problem was and when I explained the entire situation he gave me 20 golds as a sign of a support and a good will. Some might not consider it as a big amount, but for me it was everything. I will never forget that.

What's the weirdest PM you got? From who if I may ask?

I received a whole bunch of weird PM's from a great number of players... For example, yesterday a player called SycroN asked me in the name of ePakistani president for military help against eUSA and eChina, who both are our faithful allies. I was like WTF?! I didn't trouble myself to even consider replying him

Who or what is your biggest enemy in eRepublik (Country, player or alliance)?

Without hesitation I will say eSerbia.

If I look at your inventory in two seconds, what Q is your food/weapons?

If you would look at this exact moment you would find only a q3 house. Usually I eat the most profitable food, and in case of fighting if I use weapon it is always q5.

If you could change one medal of any kind, which would you choose?

I would give one Congress Member medal for a Resistance Hero medal

You are a President now. How do you feel? It's difficult to be a President?

In every case, being a President is not easy. There is a lot of work to be done and It takes a lot of your free time. It's quite hard.

What is your plans about eCroatia? Will we see any changes on Economy, Military and the Administration of the country?

We can't do a lot about our economy because it's mostly affected by changes admins constantly make and of course because of the the law of supply and demand. When considering the army you can already see a significant improvement in organization and coordination with paramilitary units, soldiers get their weapons and food on daily basis, they have joint actions... Once more we can feel the community spirit, and that is what we missed the most for few last months. Regarding the country administration, the structure of it stays the same but we changed people and the way we work.

What is the government's position on the war with eSerbia? Is there any possibility for Peace, or the war continues? What is your opinion about the war?

There will be no peace with eSerbia.

Are you planning to recover the lost gold? How if i may ask?

If you mean on the gold stolen from our national organizations I can say that we are cooperating with admins on this matter. Few days ago they returned a part of gold stolen six months ago due to hacking. We will continue our cooperation with them in hope of resolving all other open tickets.

I think, you know about the tremendous effort given by the members of EDEN to get the result you want on the war?

We know of it and we appreciate all the help we get from our allies in our war with eSerbia. We are aware of the fact that this war maybe got unbearable to some, but it's in the best interest of EDEN much more than some are aware.

Finally, have you something to say to the other EDEN's members? Anything you want.

Do not fall for the false Phoenix propaganda. We all know who are our friends, and who are our enemies. Don't allow their trolls to convince you otherwise. Long live EDEN! Long live Brotherhood!
