eCyprus Ministry of Finance – Our Policies, Plans and Recruitment

Esteemed citizens of eCyprus,

I have been appointed to the position of Minister of Finance by our newly elected president Rejep Dectash. The decisions made by the Cyprus Economic Council are still in effect, and I will republish these decisions in the rest of the article.

In addition, we are looking for colleagues to work in the Ministry of Finance. Please PM me to get into contact.

Desired qualities:

- To have a good command of at least 2 of the following languages: Greek, Turkish and English.
- Intermediate knowledge of Googledocs / Excel
- High online time
- Satisfactory accomplishment of missions undertaken in a timely manner.



EDIT: Update on Ticket and House Tax Rates

In order to make eCyprus a country where house and ticket traders can easily exchange their goods, the following tax rates are chosen. We kindly ask our congressmen to propose and accept the following rates:

Houses:
Income Tax: 15%
Import Tax: 1%
VAT: 1%

Tickets:
Income Tax: 15%
Import Tax: 1%
VAT: 3%



Minimum Wage Policy

The minimum wage in Cyprus will always be held at low levels, save for emergency interventions. Before the emergency interventions, all the communes will be given a warning before, so that they do not suffer any losses.

Taxes and International Trade Policy

To maximize the development of the eCypriots, we will employ an open trade policy. This will both allow the consumption of commodities at low prices, as well as increasing the number of people with licenses for Cyprus.

We will prepare an open letter to make the admins add the feature of revoking trade embargoes, so that we can get rid of the effects of the childish treachery of Iaswn.

We are holding the taxes as low as possible. If we conclude that our budget isn’t as strong as we would like, we might increase them by a small amount over time. Income taxes are no longer as important as before, but please do not avoid it in Cyprus. It isn’t worth 1-2 CYP to avoid taxes, and we will return all the taxes back to the population.



Investment Policy

When we consider the current raw materials in and around Cyprus, it is seen that we should focus on the food industry and the associated raw materials.

What does this mean? We should produce food in Cyprus, and import weapons from the US and other countries.

Young and middle-aged players: Open your companies in the grain sector. After the new raw materials change, switch to one of the five raw materials associated with food production according to the suggestions of the Ministry of Finance.

High level players: Focus on the food sector. Q3 is most probably the best firm size. Q4 and Q5 generally have pretty low return on investment.

After the survey is concluded, more details will be published.



Monetary Policy

As soon as we get the control of the Central Bank of Cyprus, we will start making interventions to stabilize CYP. I stress: Not protection of the level, but stability. Because of the mad formulas implemented by the administration, we cannot prevent the value of CYP eventually plummeting to 0.001 gold more than any other country can. We can only slow it down.



Subsidization Policies

As soon as we have enough CYP in our hands, we plan to start two subsidization programs:

1) Subsidies to people who want to purchase a license for Cyprus
2) Subsidies to new players to buy new land

For now, the details of both programs are not ascertained. Conditional on being able to implement a mechanism to circumvent the issue of trust, they will be executed limited with the resources we possess.



Price floors and ceilings

There are none. Do not try to fight the market forces in vain. If you see an inexperienced player, cutting prices down severely, warn him. But if someone is cutting prices to sell his excess stock, do not intervene. Prices are the only mechanism through which supply and demand are equalized. Trying to play with this mechanism is not only hard, but also undesirable. In addition, price fixing reduces the consumer surplus and helps only the fatcats, which is something I would never defend.



Tax Evasion

Please keep black market operations in Cyprus to a bare minimum. Although we won’t invoke official sanctions fow now, we have set the VAT taxes to low values so that you don’t need the urge to avoid taxes. Please do not exploit our good will, and use the markets. Else, we will have insufficient revenues, and come up with other ways to tax you, which will hurt you a good deal on a day you don’t have time to visit the black market.

eKıbrıs'ı ev ve bilet tüccarlarının mallarını kolayca takas edebilecekleri bir ülke yapmak amacıyla, aşağıda gördüğünüz vergi oranları seçilmiştir. Milletvekillerimizden bu oranları önerip oylamalarını rica ederiz:

Asgari Ücret Politikası

Kıbrıs’taki asgari ücretler, acil durum müdaheleleri dışında hep düşük seviyelerde tutulacaktır. Acil durum müdahelelerinden evvel komünlere haber verilerek mağdur olmaları engellenecektir.

Vergiler ve Dış Ticaret Politikası

Kıbrıs’taki panpaların gelişimini azami derecede arttırmak için açık ticaret politikası uygulayacağız. Bu hem en ucuz ürünlerin tüketimini mümkün kılacak, hem de uzun vadede Kıbrıs lisansı olan kişi sayısını arttıracak.

Iaswn denen liselinin tek başına oylayıp geçirdiği ambargo yasalarının kaldırılma seçeneğinin eklenmesi için bir açık mektup hazırlayacağım.

Vergileri şimdilik mümkün olduğunca düşük tutuyoruz. Eğer bütçemizin güçsüz olduğuna kanaat getirirsek vergiler yavaş yavaş artabilir. Gelir vergisi artık çok mühim bir vergi değil, ama lütfen Kıbrıs’ta kaçırmayın. 1-2 CYP kazanç için değmez, ve Amerika’nın aksine burada vergiler size geri dönecek.



Yatırım Politikası

Kıbrıs’ın şu andaki kaynakları, ve yakın çevresinde ele geçirebileceği / kiralayabileceği kaynaklar göz önüne alındığında, ekmek ve ekmek üretiminde kullanılan hammadde sektörlerine yoğunlaşmamız gerektiği anlaşılıyor.

Anketin sonuçları geldikten sonra her firmanızı neye değiştirmenizin daha iyi olacağı hakkında bulguları yayınlayacağım.



Kur Politikası

Kıbrıs Merkez Bankası hesabı elimize geçtiği anda CYP’de stabilite sağlamaya yönelik müdahelelerde bulunacağız. Dikkatinizi çekerim: Seviye koruması değil, stabilite. Adminin saçma formülleri sonucu tüm paraların değerinin 0.001’e doğru ilerlemesini diğer ülkelerden daha fazla engelleyemeyiz.



Teşvik Politikaları

Vergiler sonucu elimizde yeterince CYP biriktiği takdirde iki teşvik programını faaliyete geçirmeyi planlıyoruz:

1) Kıbrıs lisansı alacak kişilere teşvik
2) Yeni oyunculara arsa alma teşviği

Şimdilik iki teşvik programının da detayları kesinleşmiş değil. Güven sorununu aşacak mekanizmalar yaratılabildiği takdirde kaynaklar doğrultusunda uygulanacaktır.



Taban ve Tavan Fiyat

Yok böyle bir şey. Boşu boşuna piyasalarla mücadele etmeye çalışmayın. Her zaman fiyatı fazlaca kıran genç arkadaşlara oyunu bilmiyorlarsa öğretin, ama bunun dışında elindeki malları satamadığı için fiyat kıranın kırmasına karışmayın. Fiyatlar arz ve talebi dengeleyen yegane araçtır. Bu aracı kontrol etmeniz inanılmaz derecede zor olduğu gibi, kontrol etmeniz sizi zararlı duruma da getirebilir. Bunun yanı sıra fiyatların yukarıda tutulmaya çalışılması ihracatımızı ve tüketicilerimizin refahını azaltacaktır. Kodamana yarayıp yavru baykuşu ezdiren bir oluşumu desteklemem.



Vergi Kaçakçılığı

Kıbrıs’ta kara borsadan alışverişi lütfen en aza indirgeyin. Şimdilik bu konuda resmi bir yaptırım uygulamayacağız, ama ben o KDV oranlarını sizin vergi kaçırmak için bir sebebiniz kalmasın diye düşük tuttum. İyi niyetimizi istismar etmeyin. Eğer sürekli kara borsadan işlem yaparsanız gelirimiz düşük olacağından sizi vergilendirmenin başka yollarını buluruz; hem ekonominin etkinliğine zarar verir, hem de bir gün kara borsadan almaya vaktiniz olmadığında siz zararlı çıkarsınız.
