[eBNM] Money, Money, Money... must be funny...

Day 1,665, 00:18 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by Amli Nujhan

What do you know about the National or Central banking?

There are many forms of Central Banks in the RL world. Some are government owned like the New Zealand’s Kiwibank and the National Bank of Serbia. On the other hand, in many developed countries, for example United States of America has their Federal Reserve as the ultimate money controlling body; but the bank is practically an ordinary private bank.

What about our own Bank Negara Malaysia?
Actually the bank falls into the 2nd category; which is not owned by the ruling government.
The government does support and influence the bank, but not owning it. Its main purpose is to issue currency, act as banker and adviser to the Government of Malaysia and regulate the country's credit situation.
That is why we can see when the country was in deep financial crisis during the recession, yet the Bank may revive as strong as ever. In fact Bank Negara is one of the strongest bank in the world.
In general, every bank have their own financial game they got into as their main field. Some got involved in large scale property dominations; diamonds; stock monopoly; and all sort of trading.

Bank Negara Malaysia is a major FOREX player. Arguably as the most respected FOREX player in the world. Every time the BNM boys interfere something in the international monetary exchange, the direction of other country’s currency may change drastically.

The art of printing fiat money… that is it.

I will leave the RL picture there…

********************************************************************************

I have a little discomfort about this issue keep going on and on. Every government transition, there will be a small quarrel about; where has the previous term’s money gone? And things going to be a big issue if the previous and current ruling government is not very sincere in relation (although both under ATO team).
In the old days the bank account is kept by one trusted person over a long period of time, but it’s not like that nowadays.

I do not absolutely agree with the way of a PTO government, but when a PTO took over our nation… they begin from zero account. Where do they get their fund?
Either from personal loan or whatever sources, but in the end of their term they will get back their investment… and it is very profitable business too.

Now, what if the ATO should have that attitude too… Shouldn’t rely on the existing capital to go trigger happy spending spree, but rather consider it as a LOAN…
Forcing the government to think and has responsible to cover back that loan fully.
The trustee(eBNM) should never give up all the existing money for that loan… but rather keep in reserve at 30-50%; as our Federal reserve.

At the end of the term, we will get to see…
If the loan is fully paid?...
If not, it is a deficit… A failed government.
If there are additional sum of money adding into the Federal Reserve… That is a hell of an excellent government.
Something to be proud of. And worth to be given extra bonuses to the hardworking officials too.

Thus our monetary reserve may have room to grow stronger and richer… not keep going through deficit budgets.

Kachinnng!
