[eBe] Exchange of BEF into Gold

Dear eBe-citizen,
you might have a need for gold, but when you go to the Monetary Market and sell your BEF for gold, it takes 10 days for you to exchange 2000 BEF into 10 gold.
Such a slow conversion can hurt your capabilities to efficiently become eBe's economic guru!
Therefore, the Ministry of Finance gives you the opportunity to convert your BEF to Gold using the 'sell BEF exchange ratio' (currently: 1 BEF= 0.005 gold).
In order to use this opportunity:
😉You are an eBe citizen
😉you contact the MoF (NLSP)
😉you follow the instructions from the MoF
You can use this program as much as you want, however, to make the administration a bit easier, only 'whole numbers' of gold can be bought (this means you can convert 800 BEF into 4 gold, or 1000 BEF into 5 gold, but you can't convert 900 BEF into 4.5 gold)

PS: If this turns out to be a huge, huge, huge success, it might be that there comes a limit to the amount of gold you can buy with this program, in order to give everyone the opportunity to participate.
PPS: This is aimed for people wanting to convert their BEF into gold fast instead of slow (as through the Monetary Market). People that try to abuse this to make a profit, can be excluded from this program.

Is there a limit in trading BEF for gold? I'm still learning every day..
you can in total, money market transactions and donations, earn maximal 10 gold a day
So it's 1 day and not 10 or am I missing something?
10 gold each day is the 'game mechanics' -limitation, however, due to the large amount of offers, if you put BEF on the monetary market, it takes +/- 10 days to get it sold (and sometimes the offer even expires)

I won't react anymore on Governmental papers and I refuse any coming 50 BEF as long as this farce about the war is going on.
It's so disappointing. And any new governmental article distracting attention from it while being silent on true facts about the war increases that feeling. I'm sorry Maryam, but that's too much of making a fool of people. No matter you reasons, being silent is the worst choice.

Jdlf, I don't care that it WILL be settled soon. What I point at is how it has been handled so far. We had a war on our soil, we've been erased of the map and we had to fight without deep informations about its context, its consequences, the views of the government, and so on. I don't give a damn about having the informations when it's almost over. I know Maryam and I'm sure she will make a nice text explaining the "how", the "why" and the good intentions, but it's too late. Anything (political tactic or else) that lead to this complete misinformation had to be avoided at all cost, simply because not informing its citizens is the worst choice possible. Now, it's done. We can't go back in the past.

I agree, it needs more information. Especially on the "do we fight or not". Just to be clear, don't fight right now. Without ePL we can't take our regions back.
Good point is: ePL will help when some conditions are met.

I'm sorry, but the MoF department will continue to work to help our citizens and publish articles informing them about it, independently of other gov-departments. I am sorry that you think that the MoF-department is spending all that time, just to distract you from other eRep events.
I think that the MoF-Department has, since the beginning of the term already shown that it is dedicated towards spending state money to the benefit of all eBe citizens and implying that the articles of the MoF-departement are a decoy to keep you sweet, is an insult towards the hard work of the MoF and the MoF-slaves...
Maybe you will feel better if the MoF announces these citizenprogram's solely on the forum, this way you can't be distracted from the things that for you matter?

buggy erep is buggy, so I wanted to say, it takes 1 day/10 gold.
16k bef would be 80 gold, so 8 days.
However, such big amounts would be investigated to make sure that the reasons are legit 🙂
