well, you gave away all the money of the country (which was deemed safe in your hands) destroying the Belgian National Army, where eBelgians liked to gather. then most of people enjoying the country's money fled away because they couldn't bleed the belgian treasury anymore.

the country was wiped, so good people can't enter the country, and newbies exit the game as there is nothing to do, except blindly following the orders coming from the UK. this makes belgium to have every day less citizens to work with.

so, sorry, there's a fail in your reflection: there are three factions in eBelgium.

The money was indeed spend by previous governments for reasons that could be seen as either good or not, but even prior to that excessive spending, we were running at a loss for a year or two and it would have to stop nonetheless at some time.

The number of eBelgian citizens is currently around 500 and it has remained constant over time (and is even higher than it was a couple of years before if I am correct). The wipe has not impacted the number of citizens significantly and the new players have always been fleeing away. While this is true that we currently lack of activities, this is also due to the lack of active people which is a major problem in eBelgium (but it has been also the case for a long while).

We have never received any orders from UK but we have got strong bonds with several UK citizens who used to be either eBelgians or eUNLers and therefore there are indeed strong bonds between both communities and therefore common acting.

There has been people "PTOers" in the government more than one time. As long as he is behaving properly, I do not see this as a problem, but this is indeed a question of point of view and many will disagree.

And about the three factions, this is partly true, but I will talk about it later on 😉.

I have never seen 1000 active eBelgians on the Belgium page since 2011, maybe 600 at most. The treasury itself has indeed strongly be lowered and that is something I won't deny. And give me some times to talk about the opposition properly, this was not the focus of this article. The only reason why I accepted ChristijanXD in my government is that he asked to be in it and that I said that I would accept anyone and to be honest the request was completely unexpected.

Sayiong we were going into bankrupcy is a weak defense. According to data, thanks to punctual gives and tournaments we would have been able to run at least 2 or 3 more years. And as those are punctual events you can't tell how the future is.

So ... We would have been able to run at least for 2 years and if each year punctual donations/tournamernts are made, we would have been able to run for 3/4 years; or even forever with slight adjustements.

About the vCP and MQ: i'm happy CJ is there because I don't think "they" have to be put appart. And MQ thinks according to her objectives so that's quite normal she agrees on right now.

Her objective, Tony, is the fact that MQ cannot afford to lose face over the fact that someone she supported (her "side" as you put it) has made a person VP that she always fought against. But pointing that out would also make her lose face, so she openly agrees but (in all probability) silently disagrees. ... Oh the hypocrisy.

As a matter of fact, my dear shadow, I was the only one of Jofroi's advisor's that agreed about his making Christijan vCP, despite the fact that Christijan has multiple times openly insulted me and my family in a most crude and and vulgar way and even made RL threats against me. And why on earth do you think I am worried about losing face? If I were worried about that, I would not have made the decisions I have made over the last several months. I'm perfectly satisfied with my position in the eWorld, and will stake my reputation against yours any day.

I must say that your description of the situation is the best I saw until now.
I even think the lack of active people is partly due to that situation ( I hope at least it is so).
We always will have a lot of people who just play the game and let the rest for others, but those who constantly are revolting can use that energy also to help managing the country.
We must only convince those who are still afraid, that the opposition is not so bad as they fear, think that most of the bad moves they made came out of the frustration banging always their head on a closed door. And it was that same closed door that made me move to the other side.

Our media is dead. Nice try to fill out at least the "Top news" page.

Tony already pointed everything out perfectly in his post above. I just want to add that we have always found ourselves willing to cooperate under the conditions that:
-all our members would be unbanned and given full citizens status with all rights involved
-eBelgium becomes 100% free and has open congress elections
-We do not impose a society where forum rules limit ingame rights or people/CM's being punished for using IG functions.
