[eBe CP] A reflection about eBelgium 1

Day 2,304, 09:51 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Dear Citizens of Belgium,

I would like to launch during this month a reflexion among us about the meaning of being eBelgian and what is eBelgium. But let's begin with a bit of history because history is important and that I have been MoH for a while 😉.

eBelgium has been created in the early 2010 on the ashes on the eUnited Netherlands country. For political reasons, both major ally of that time decided to send their mobile citizens to eBelgium.

For several months, the country has been split in two parts, citizens where grouped regarding their ally. Both groups were of similar size which is the reason why eBelgium has been a neutral country for several years.

However, this has lead to a dichotomy between the citizens. When most of the foreign citizens left the country, this dichotomy remained. However the balance of power was such that one of the group had taken the advantage of number over the other one.

Over time, the "leading group" have kept the power for the majority of the following period and was later on called the "elite" group in several internal conflicts due to its persistency to keep the power.

There has been several times when the balance of power was about to change but it had never completely been reversed.

However, managing a country requires a great amount of work and over time the number of citizens still willing to do the task properly has decreased especially with the high amount of citizens leaving for foreign countries. (This also explains why I have been elected as Country President 😉 ).

eBelgium nowadays needs new people to manage the country efficiently as the people who used to do that are currently in a very limited amount. If one of them had to fail, it would be really hard to find someone to replace him (or her). Therefore the people still currently leading the country will probably needs help from people they didn't have the habit to cooperate with if they want to be able to manage the country properly and not let it die due to inactivity.

Next time I will talk about the "opposition" over ages.

Best regards,
Jofroi
Country President
