I recommend this program to anyone wanting to get active in the game, especially as a view to getting involved in ePolitics. It's a great step up to prove how active and useful you can be. 🙂

Are there limits on what Ambassadors can do and say or is it when the CP steps off to the bathroom the Ambassador can wage war or make peace treaties?
the role of a ambassador is mainly there to inform the FA department on what is going on. It is best the ambassadors do not engage the CP's and cab of other countries unless asked or if they are just talking on the country's irc or forum
Adding to what LB has said, it is similar to a PR role, it is how we get the opportunity to make friends in this game. The Ambassador can talk with people of the other nation and see what the situation is, which provides our govt with more info about that nation. So no deals, but if the nation asks for anything or would like to set up a meeting with our DoFA or CP then they can ask the ambassador who will pass on the message.
There seems to have been a slight misunderstanding with one of our Ambassadors who thought it granted them the power to make deals to bring our countries closer. This is not the case, but if a country would like anything in particular then they can speak to the ambassador who speaks with the govt about it.
Yep, it's about general information sharing and schmoozing. 🙂
I am interested in serving eAus! Can speak some Chinese in RL, if that helps. I would love to help create an eASEAN coalition too.
