Today we will consider some good tricks to be able to more easily win Battle Hero medals (BH below).



What do you need?

Step 1


We use the BH/CH calculator to calculate the maximum influence points we can put in a battle.


1.1 - Place your username or erepublik ID and click on get influence to automatically get some of your stats (suggest you check the remember me).






1.2 - Under "energy" insert the maximum value of your rechargeable health points that you find in the top-left bar in eRepublik. Multiply this value by 2. This is the basic energy that you can use in a session of fights in a few minutes.


For example, I have a maximum energy of 650 points. So I insert here 1300 (650 * 2).


Nearby, add the number of energy bars that you are prepared to use use to get a medal. The tool will calculate the number of hits we can do. (In the example we have, 330)







1.3 - You can now enter on the left the number of shots with each weapon you are prepared to use. You can increase the number of hits until the value of remaining hits drops to 0. The tool will report the number of weapons that you need to run all the shots. (in the example case 33 Q7 weapons for 330 hits).







1.4 - At the bottom of the page you can find the special weapons. You can build rockets if you purchased the related companies. You can store up to two Q1, Q2 and Q3 rockets. The Q4 and Q5 only one unit at a time. The same numbers apply to the number of rockets that it is possible to produce every day. For this reason, if you can, take advantage of the day change, to use 4/5 rockets (Q1, Q2 or Q3) instead of 2. Or to use 2/3 rockets (Q4 and Q5) instead of 1.

Small bombs and big bombs are released with missions or bought with real money.

There are also boosters to increase the damage of weapons, which can be won in the game or purchased.







1.5 - Return to the top, and you can decide to manually adjust the strength or rank level (especially if you are about to reach a new rank level). You will get a very useful estimate that will help you catch a BH.

Step 2


Now open the site that provides a list of active battles with the best scores in battle at the time.

In this case, I will examine the page of the battles in D1 (above the links to other divisions).

- We are in D1, and we can shoot almost 12M points of influence in 1 battle.

- We know that the battle will end at 1800 battle points.


There are two ways to fight for medals. Shoot at the very beginning of the battle, or wait until the final moments.

- By shooting immediately, you may prevent the arrival of other BH hunters. But it could also be overcome by those who can easily get more influence than you.

- Shooting at the end (the best choice most of the time), you have a clearer idea of ​​the importance of the battle. You can figure out how many are trying to win the BH and look at the actual influence.

- An indicative average to get medals in D1 in these days is about 5M/6M points influence (+10M in hard fight or huge wars between countries).







At the time of writing, many rounds are at the beginning, and already there are millions of points that are around to influence 5M (in first 30 minutes of a round, with each round lasting 90 minutes). The battle in the image will end soon, and with 12M we have a good chance of getting the medal by fighting for the United Arab Emirates, or for Serbia:

There is no sure way to get a BH medal.


Be aware of your own strength to help to avoid miscalculations, which helps when considering the risks and should reduce your chances of failure.

Q1. I have 12M damage available and the battle is about to end with the two best fighters on 11M and 10

A: No. There are many battles where you can more easily get the medal. Patience pays off.



Q2. How can I tell if I should fear a rival for a BH?


A: Before making your play, especially near the end of the round, check if the player you want to overcome is online. If they are online and are strong like you, do not go there. Even if you manage to get the medal, he/she will remember you. Though if they are enemies of our nation...take it without fear, but expect them to try and win it back!



Q3. Are there better countries to fight for to gain a BH?


A: Sure, little countries generally manage less damage in a battle. If you can choose to fight for United Arab Emirates or Serbia, chose the UAE. Our allies always appreciate damage thrown their way too.



Q4. What about bazookas?


A: You can use the calculator to know your damage with 1 hit. Generally you should use bazookas until your 1-hit damage is lower than 1-hit with bazooka. Remember that bazooka booster double your bazooka damage. When you hit harder than bazookas, you use them only if you don't have Q7 weapons (generally not recommended, just use them for the 75 kill Freedom Fighter medals).
