However, here is the thing. A while back, I pretty much stated I didn't agree with the dictator module, and pretty much promised to help tank his bum out when there was a chance (still have a lot of stuff left over from my quittage of this game).

Since this time, I have kept half an eye on things, read up on the different camps and (tried to) keep an open mind on this.

The thing is, other than moralistic spins either way, I haven't really seen much of a case as to why the current dictator has helped (I accept that some of the money he took might have been somehow reinvested into MPPs he proposed - but haven't actually checked if he paid for these from the treasury money he took), why we are pushing this negotiation thing with him or the benefits this is currently offering.

Please don't get me wrong - I am not trying to bait further moral arguments. My honest question is, what is the benefits of the dictator, and why does this outweigh at present the democratic approach where we have our own elected government?

Out of respect for Lany, who has obviously expressed she thinks it's all good, and is one of the few people still around whose opinion I will respect without reservation, I have refrained from hitting in this fight. But, and I know people have this entire callumh v pretty thing going, I really like callumh too, and he is pushing to fight. As is JT.

So, if people can actually, without spin or motherhood statements, explain to me WTF is going on, it would be appreciated. I'd like to form an opinion on what I would support before I fight or don't.

Hard to say for or against. As a department we are not in agreement, which you might've noticed from individual's shouts. Hence why this was published from the organisation. And why we asked to keep motivations separate.

For me, the issue is that the current dictator is a pretty reasonable guy, and we've got more military power now because of him, and are able to help out our allies. If we were to take back our democracy, it would be short lived, and we'd probably just have an even worse dictator.

It is too long for explanation. There are positives and negatives. But I will try to tell you this way.

I remember you have a small boy. Your life is much harder now and you don't have time enough for your hobbies. You are family man and you can't take decisions on your own.
Some people don't like to marry, some don't like children - they will make their life difficult. But such people are completely independent. They make the history. Career, idea and independence before everything.

You see that there in no wrong choice. When you want something you must make sacrifices. You can't have everything in once or you must be God!

In this case, people like the idea of having a dictator (which is better the devil you know). Some don't.

2/3 of the nations are under dictatorship. At the moment we are from the other 1/3

We must decide who should be our dictator and why. Self dictating will kill our nation much faster than you think and we must choose wisely.

Reposted cos of typo : Hmm... That is potentially an expensive proposition, but I do see the logic. dont call them a dictator..Elect a Governor General like in Aus RL. Basically no real power, just gives assent to stuff passed/wanted by CP and senate. Good luck finding someone for that role lol.

X, there are always other options too. We haven't decided yet, though J Seemore evidently has his opinion. As an Aussie citizen, you're welcme to have your say too, obviously.

In the end, the issue is really one of trust. People didn't know you, so they didn't trust you. From my perspective I haven't seen you in public nearly as much as the past 2 days. If you'd engaged with us from the start, in public, things may have wound up differently.

I can't remember where Xen said "I don't like dictatorship too", but I am sure he said that.
Australia as a community don't like dictatorship module, which means we don't want to have dictator. But unfortunately this is impossible.
