[DoD] Call to Arms - National Strike!

The last National Strike was a huge success with 30~ Irish warriors turning up to take part in these joyous community events - The last Strike was also our last Strike as a member of EDEN.

This Sunday will be the first National Strike our nation takes part as an Independent country. For this reason, I hope every proud citizen of eIreland will make some time to join this momentous event and toast to our glorious future.

There was never any spamming as Libertad were not included in the last MU circular. It wasn't fair on them or EDEN to give CotD's. It's important that the National Strike is a coordinated one, not an IA one. We received significant support from independent MU's in the past, so please keep them in mind.

I can't speak for Marinko, but including Libertad in the mail thread considering we are no longer part of EDEN and an Independent nation, makes perfect sense - most operations are compatible. I think they should be kept informed.

Not sure where the inference that this is an IA strike came from - I'm in the Irish Army, but I've made a direct appeal to citizens, and ignored military unit membership altogether.

I think it's to do with the talk a few weeks ago about government only supplying the IA for any strikes as against the old regime of supplying anyone who asked for them. Out of interest, does anyone know how many active fighters there are actually are in Ireland? I know there's a chunk in div 1 who aren't fighting and are building there strength up and there's probably around 200 active players to start with.
