[DoD] A Tribute to the Fallen and Decomissioning of O Malley Hall

Day 1,013, 16:24 Published in Ireland Ireland by Irish Department of Defence

Hello citizens and soldiers of Ireland,

As the time comes to move from the old to the new in halls and the basis to run the Irish Defence Forces, it's fitting that we look back on the soldiers who made the Irish Defence Forces and into the actually naming of the hall which housed all these soldiers and many more. O Malley hall.

O Malley hall is now being decomissioned after the move to www.idfhub.webs.com but the naming of the hall was after one Irish soldier who refused to take the political banner (but delved into it when us naughty politicians went out of hand 😛) Gráinne Ní Mháille. The hall served the purposes in the forums to rally and organise the whole IDF and had a rather fitting name. Those who know their history may have known of the organised Pirate Queen / Chieftan who the name of the hall and eRepublik charachter care from, see article here.

Furthermore it is fitting to remember the soldiers who made Ireland what it is today. I have gathered a list with the help of the people in #Ireland of people who are no longer active/alive in eRepublik but whose presence shaped the IDF we have today. Give the names a read, remember them and give a final salute o7.
