[DMJ4POTUS] Get to the Polls

Mood Music: Look at that sandwich, delish.

Last week, I released by picks for DoE, DoI, and DoM, as well as my VP. Time to round out the Dream Team.

Chief of Staff

Melissa Rose

She can be fierce about driving the mission forward; I've seen her in action. I can't think of a better person to make crack the whip on my cabinet.

Secretary of State

Konoha no Kiiroi Senko

With the drastically changing foreign landscape, including a likely shift in alliances with CoT already losing a major member likely dissolving, I wanted someone with prior experience in Foreign Affairs who can also bring new ideas to the table. Konoha was the perfect fit.

I want to keep our real friends close and build upon new relationships where possible to ensure we come out of this alliance shift in the best possible situation.

National Security Council Director

Gnilraps

While we're currently in a state of peace when it comes to TWO, helping our friends and allies is still a vital mission and I trust Gnilraps to make sure we're fighting where we're needed.

Secretary of Homeland Security

Mazzy Cat

Mazzy hates PTO's as much as the next person. She's got experience in ATO operations, which makes her a great choice for continuing the fight against PTO forces that we have made such awesome progress against in the last couple of months.

Secretary of Being Stabbed with a Harpoon

Oblige

I told Oblige that if he was in my cabinet, it would only be so I had someone to stab with a harpoon. So here he is.

As I've said before, I think I've put together a "dream team" that can really bring us forward into the next stage of the eUS's existence. This election isn't really about just the President. It's about choosing a leader with a good team at his side.

How do we do it? Tom Hanks has some ideas.

With my Big 4, I want to start an external media campaign from Day 1. We need to get the word out about the rebuilding of our eNation. External recruiting is only half the issue, though. eRep gets a fair amount of new players in a day already, but where we really lose out is attrition. People are not getting involved. We have to actively work to make this game fun, because let's face it, clicking a fight button isn't why we are all still here.

I will personally be working with our Flight Training Program to ensure we are giving our new players the best possible experience when they enter the government sponsored program.

I'll be working with DoE and DoI to find new daily things to get people involved. More contests, more events. I'll ask my entire cabinet to be on the nation's IRC channels whenever they are on and we will be directing our new citizens there and to the forum with active government members to welcome them and answer their questions.

We want our new members to soar like eagles.

Something else I plan to do within the first week of my term is open a forum and IRC channel for suggestions from anyone in our eNation. I want feedback, I want to hear from you. This is your country as much as mine and you deserve to have a say in what happens. That doesn't mean I'll do every thing that is suggested, but good ideas don't just come from the people chosen by the executive.

I plan to put out 2-3 articles a week about what's going on in the government, what our progress is: even if it's to tell you that I screwed up and something isn't going as planned, because my voters deserve to know what's going on, truthfully.

Join Tom Hanks in voting for DMJ4POTUS tomorrow!
