Dear congressmen and citizens,
Please come here and have a discussion.
Do you think it is necessary to raise the income tax rate on food? I think it's ok to raise it to 10%, so that our treasury wil have more incomes.
Please leave your opinions and after we reach an agreement, we'll ask the congressmen to pass the proposal on tax change.

I still wonder if this tax change will limit our choice scope of food.
Well, since NK is still safe and peace, if the country is lack of tax income, I think it's worth to try.
Well, I think it's OK.
I just proposed a 10% tax on food, we can pass it and run it as a test trial. If you don't like the results which I doubt will happen, somebody can propose a bill to repeal it.
I think it is a great start, something we really need to do. We aren't just going to pay for MPPs and hospitals through public donations. A little tax raise here and there isn't going to hurt us, it will slowly but surly provide the needed funds for those projects.

I think what we discuss is import tax, not income tax
The Chinese version is about "import tax"
The English version must be miss spelled
In fact, the income tax rate has already been 10%
Anyway, vat is not mentioned in the discussion.

about 2 days ago, Warboss Sharp proposed to change import tax from 5% to 10%.
the current proposal by OogieBoogie3, not only raised import tax from 5% to 10%, but also raised vat from 5% to 10%.
I think the discussion under this article is talking about import tax (to those who can read Chinese) or income tax(to those who can only read English). Vat is not included.
I can approve the raise of import tax, it's worth to try.
But I can't agree with the raise of VAT. 5% Vat is quite enough, I think.
Funny thing is yesterday i started a vote to change import tax and it failed. Now everyone is talking about it lol.

I think you did not leave enough time to discuss.
In the past, congress were used to daily voting. as MeiFaWan said, too many 2-click congress members. They might not see the content, but just vote no.
If you want the proposal passed, I think a discussion is really needed. Not too hustle to post the proposal, but leave some time for others to see and to discuss.
Although I did not approve the tax change on your proposal yesterday, through this discussion under this article and your article before, I think I can accept import tax from 5% to 10% to have a try.
In fact, not that many congressmen read newspaper here.

I think if you raise the proposal again, there is a much greater chance to pass now.
north korea needs investors and products and therefore EXTREMELY LOW TAXES

Sorry but no, If that happens our national companies will not be able to compete with the foreing ones, forcing the people to close up their bussines, and losing tons of jobs and population. Almost like in RL 😛
And of course also will be good for the goverment so we'll have more money and therefore we can build defense sistems, hospitals, walfare programs etc. See, again like in RL 😛
