[DfA] Draim For Australia

Day 1,926, 04:03 Published in Australia Australia by DraimAlexander

Australia needs Peace both internally and externally

Our country has been at war for too long, we have constant struggles with our enemies (and at times who we thought were friends) and with ourselves.

We're sore, and we're tired of fighting.

Australia (Majester's pet fighting Kangaroo), sore and tired.

However as Australians we still have our surges, we don't like to beat down and so it generally brings us rising back from the grave stronger than we ever were. We love to throw punches at each other but the one thing we can generally rely on is getting back together and ganging up against someone who DARED to attack US.

Draim's fighting Koala, you don't live long enough for him to need a name.

We've been working on it over the past CPs, and working on it hard, but it's time to rise up again and figure out what we want. We need to stop the bickering, stabilize ourselves, and get our country back together. I think I can help lead that with the help of the amazing minds of eAustralia both new and old and from all of the different political camps.

And that's why I've decided to run for CP this March.

Draim preps his humble shack for the campaign.

I'll be adding more over the next days in more articles as I get together the cabinet team and formulate plans both public and private. However you can expect a couple things:

The cabinet office is large and roomy

An open cabinet: We have people here in eAus who are better at every aspect of the game then I am. I can't do this without them. We also have a lot of people with ideas and (/or) want to learn. I want to gather the best, the brightest and the interested from all sides of the country. I don't care what party or MU you're in (or if you aren't in any) we can use your help and I could use your advice. I ask only 2 things: That they speak their mind and don't hold back (without being rude or disrespectful) and that they respect a decision that's been made even when they disagree.

The Australians are fairly clear, they want their country back.

My first priority (well a close tie perhaps) is getting and keeping the country stable. There are a bunch of options to do this but we want a steady tax stream (whether it's small or not) and we want to feel a bit more secure as we build up.

That said the other big priority is that we want our nation back. Depending on the time and place this will alternate with the stability part (risk) but it is the #1 ultimate goal that everything else must work towards in either small or large steps. As a soldier I'm not above military action and this is a game built around it, if we can't figure something out politically then that's the only option and we can not wait around forever.

More to come but please ask away if you have any questions and remember, we still call Australia home no matter the occupiers, they will leave whether willing or not.
