With the Indonesia war now over, I've been looking at other things we can do to keep our soldiers busy, while enjoying a few days break from the constant monitoring of important battles. We've spent a few days helping our allies. India, South Africa and Canada have all messaged Australia for help in their battles, so we will help where we are able to.

I've been chatting with New Zealand and offered a proposal of region swaps that was Majester's idea. NZ would get WA, SA and Tas, and we would get Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury. This would give us bonus Deer and Iron. I'm now waiting on the new Senate to discuss and vote upon the proposal.

This week will be interesting with the Battle of the Alliances. To be honest the prize sucks, but the bonus free MPPs will be very welcome and will save the Govt over 200k in fees.

The Cabinet staff have all been very busy, and I'd like to thank them for their continued efforts.

We are always on alert of suspicious movement from foreign nationals trying to get an illegal passport. At the same time we are still hoping to increase the number of people migrating to eAustralia, living and working and contributing to our country.

As the Deputy Mofa in charge of mpps, I've messaged to Country presidents whose mpps were going to expire in 3 days.Currently we have renewed or we are going to renew our mpps with these countries;

After the long war with eIndonesia, the DoFA have begun reestablishing dialogue with neighboring countries, particularly the smaller ones in the region and the Government are at the latter ends of deal that the Prime Minister will be announcing in the near future. Apart from that, the DoFA intern, MzCielly. Is currently working on an article outlining what the Regional Department has been doing to date and current conflicts in the region.

Military/Foreign policy:
Canada is currently in the middle of a war with Poland. Australian forces have been directed to the battles in play. We are committed to helping our Canuck mates under existing alliance obligations. The President of the United States has made a strategic decision to ally with Hungary, a former enemy stronghold, but due to political changes may be subject to policy reversal according to information received.. Argentina currently has an NE with Paraguay that we have assigned assistance to. Bolivia and Chile have also NE'd Argentina.

Politics:

On the political front, Canadian President Jacobi has narrowly escaped impeachment. In the United States, a change of administration by means of impeachment has occurred and Civil Anarchy is the new eUS President. The official position of our government is one of neutrality in foreign political affairs and is eager to work with the recognised officials of our allied countries. A communiqué has been sent to new eUS President Civil Anarchy prior to the transition and the government awaits a reply at time of writing.

As always, the government is monitoring the situation and as Minister I engage frequently with key stakeholders as part of our foreign policy and mutual obligation objectives.

An interesting week so far. I've been keeping a close eye on some pacts and relations that have been going on in Europe and what each one does. Gave Binda a full report on this and am keeping an eye on government papers and territories/wars, etc. Other than that continuing the usual discussions and agenda.

We wrote a brand new guide to the cabinet this week on every department which took quite some time but was fun. Getting another DoE article out today hopefully and then may work on some other new projects. Replacement will come next term most likely.

The past week has seen us at a temporary respite in the constant warring times over the past few terms, which has been relieving on the department of defense, both financially and mentally.

We have been organizing along with the CP a land-swap with further details that will be discussed in the CP's update.

This passed week, we've seen a lack of battles from our soil. So it's been a easy week for me and probably the rest of the defence department.
I am still trying to get all newbies into military units each day and educating them to try do their 25 kills. Not much has changed on the stats.

The past week has seen the Department of Finance release it's mid term report to senate, we have been keeping track of all incomes and as always keeping a track on all the donations we need to keep all the other organizations on track.

Throughout the past week or so we have seen a few troubling signs in the market but as the Minister of Finance i have been looking at ways to rectify that.
