[Department of Fun] War Survey Results

Day 2,357, 18:15 Published in USA USA by Aeriadne

The answer is clear.

We Want War
After five days and nearly 120 responses, and spending some time culling the ones that were obvious fakes or Canadians (nice try) the results for the from the war survey are back. And the answer is clear.

If you combine the 54% who support more war with the 18% who say even another month of it would be good, that's an overwhelming 72% of people who took this survey and think that continuing the war against Canada would be a good idea.

On the other side of the coin, 28% of people think that perhaps it's time to stop.

Overall, it's a 2/3rds split, with the majority in favor of continuing with the Edward Norton School of Diplomacy and Negotiations.

Now, the second part of the survey was also not very surprising.

On a scale of 1-5, five being the best and one being the worst:
20% rated the eUS government's handling of the war with a 5,
45% rated with a 4,
17% rated with a 3,
10% rated with a 2,
and 8% rated with a 1.

Now that falls in line with what I've been seeing. The interesting thing for me occurred while I was watching respondents. Early on, the figures were much different. The majority of the respondents who rated the government as being lower were early takers of the survey, while later on the numbers filled out to support the higher and more favorable outlooks.

Take that as you will. I'm just here to provide results.

Where Do We Go Now
Gnil's terms are at an end. The war with Canada was a success. Whether it will continue to be a successful occupation, or whether we begin to negotiate is up to Molly Emma and the Canadian government. Money is certainly also a factor.

My bet? We continue the occupation. Judging from the general feeling given by the survey and what I know of Molly and the incoming eCanadian government, it's probably safe to say we will be seeing more aggressive negotiations.

It is the fourth of May, after all.

But there are issues with that. Money is the biggest factor here, and even congress has begun to take note that we are spending quite a bit. Still, Molly is Top Gun, and that's both a compliment and a fact.

We'll see how she flies once she's in office.

Thank you to the overwhelming response for the survey, and thank you to the overwhelming amount of Greelingadians who continue to shine our jackboots with their maple syrup flavored spit.
