The Introduction

Here I am. The Swiss Freedom Party has once again given their support to my bid for Country President. I awoke to a wonderful image this morning!



We have made it guys! Even if it may be just for a moment!

The dwindling might of Switzerland

I have been Minister of Defence for Switzerland for the past two months. What I have witnessed, is a lack of desire for any talks about military discussion. I have been told who to set MoD orders for. That is about the extent to it. In the top tier of Swiss politics, there is sense of nostalgia around the subject, an assumption that there is only one way to have a national military. We give rewards to those who fight regardless of a reward or not. We are now the weakest country in the world.



The rebirth of the Swiss National Army

The Swiss National Army was once a unit that could compete with the best MU’s when it came to supplies. The former communes and the government funded allowed it to thrive. Honesty, I would love to be able to direct all my damage to Switzerland’s allies. I left a military unit that was very close to my heart to move to a MU within an allied country so that my orders would be somewhat similar. However most of the time I had to set MoD orders which I could only rarely fight for. I personally cannot afford to fund myself to fight around my MU’s orders, so I expect that only a handful within Switzerland can.

So what is the solution?

The Rebirth of the Swiss National Army (the name is not set in stone), however not in the way that we have seen in the past. I have many ideas going through my mind as to how this can be done. I have witnessed many different systems so the end product my end in a hybrid of some sort. A military unit will be established as a collection point for all interested parties. From this MU the DO’s will be set in accordance with the MoD articles. For those who have an attachment to their military unit, then this is where the second tier of the system comes in. There will be a message system installed for all those interested in being part of the SNA, without being a member of the MU itself, where they will be given orders. To ensure that they are fighting where requested to receive supplies, they will be a google document set up for them to post their screen shots of the damage.

All of this of course is dependent of creating a commune system so that our troops can be supplied with weapons to fight. This is arguable going to be the hardest part to achieve. This is solvable, however It may take some time.

Immigration and National Security



Immigration reform is a necessity. We have a loose set of guidelines that congress has to follow, however, most of the guidelines can be viewed differently from member to member. This is why a new set of rules need to be put in place to ensure continuity throughout the immigration process.

This could be done through the implementation of immigration officers. Players elected by congress to sit on a panel that oversees every immigration case. This will cut out the effect that the current system has where some players vote on some applications but not others meaning that some player’s man have their applications treated in a harsher fashion than others.

This is a very important issue, especially if we continue to have a large congress. It will be easier for new immigrants to get into congress. This an issue that will have to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
