[CPF] Bridging Gaps

Day 2,456, 19:36 Published in Canada Poland by TheSmoke

This one is for Tom Joad,

YELLOW, well now that we got that over with we can move on!
Friendship can be a hard thing to build, especially if your name is Klop, however it can still be done! Canada has some long standing friends in the eWorld, that being Portugal, France, the Irish, the Argies and others, but these friendships are not simply created with a friendly smile and some maple syrup. We have these relations because we work for them, and continue to keep a dialogue to move forward with.

The recent ATLAS Treaty between Portugal, France and Canada is a good example of that, we communicate our ideas and wishes, and promise to help one another out. We solidify this by hammering down damage for our fellow friends when they need it the most, just as they have for us. We also try to build on our communities in small ways, by befriending one another, reading articles, and talking in game and on IRC.

As such, this is exactly what we need to do with our other allies. We as Canadians need to look at some of our allies who we may not be so close with, and bridge these gaps. An easy way to do so, is to befriend people in their government, their big MUs and Parties, read their newspapers, and read their comments. See what is going on in their country first hand, and network even further.

What we also should aim to do, is prove how valuable Canada is as an ally. We all enjoy getting our TP medals for Canada, but these wars are not serious, rather just training stuff. This is where we prove our worthiness, by putting our friends first. Fight smart, and fight hard! Perhaps with a little extra team work and organization, we as Canadians can group up and lay some heavy damage down together for our friends. Nothing looks better than an allies battle having the top 5 hitters flying the Canadian flag.

So I hope to see some new friendships arise on the small scale, but also on the big scale. Canada is strong, and we know this, so lets make sure the eWorld knows this too!

Cheers,

TheSmoke
