When wars are a circle-jerk like this, it's important to remember that the obvious choice isn't always the correct one. So don't assume you know where you should be fighting. Check orders with your MU leaders.
Don't have an MU leader? Check with somebody else's MU leader!
The 'Campaign of the Day' does not constitute getting proper orders!

Is it going to get confusing? Sometimes!
Are we going to lose regions? Ofc, it's direct war!
Are we going to take regions? That too!
Is it going to be fun? Dunno bout you, but I've been pretty bored since Sweden left the fight!
Was this avoidable? Do you honestly believe the UK wasn't going to take the first opportunity available to invade us?!?
