Well to afford me the privalege of taunting my fellow underlings and citizens I have to earn that right by showing you I'm doing my job and keeping you in the loop.
Yeah yeah I know I can get farther with sugar instead of spice and all that crap. But I'm already at the top so your agruements have no bearing. I wasn't elected because the majority of you like or respect me. I was elected to do the job. When the time comes and I say jump you will ask how high because in your heart and minds you will know I have your interests at the top.
Gold Theft
I submitted a ticket for it yesterday evening asking for details and an update to what the hells taking so long. As the new CP and a high ranking customer I expect prompt service. When I'm updated you will be as well. I doubt we'll get the money back but atleast we'll know who to taunt and send hate mail to.
Alliance Referendum
Wilhelm Gunter has gone above and beyond so far iniating this. We owe him our thanks and gratitude. Not doing so will create an angry drunk Rylde. Its on schedule so far and I expect it to be completed by the weekend.

MPP's and Trade Embargoes
Sweden and Finland have been signed to MPP's so we can offer our support in there war. negotiations with republic of China are still ongoing. I expect congress to say yes when we've come to an agreement.
I will be creating a trade embargoe a day for a couple weeks against any and all enemy states to keep there foreign products off our markets. Congress plz vote yes on all I suggest.
Getting MU's off the Teet
Chochi is my Minister of Finance after I fired the other guy while drunk. I believe I've fired Chochi in the past before. Lets see how long he lasts this time.
The two of us have discussed at length at slowly moving towards funding MU's to build infrastructure and get off the govts teet. This would enable us to use taxes to arm soldiers with weapons and create a rich merc program for added punch in wars. It would be a long process but beneficial to the country in the long run.
Options are being considered and CAF as the longest running MU in canada would be up first for the test run. Most likley tax money would not be used so as not to disrupt current supply lines to MU's. More updates forth coming.
All Govt funded MU's should be prepared to submit a proposal on what they would need to become more self suffecient to recieve less or no funding.
Proposal for War
Because I am who I am and its in my nature I have submitted a proposal for war to congress. Until such time as a decision is made I want all citizens of the country to save all there Energy bars and Bazooka's. Canadian Tanks please refrain from tanking in useless battles until then.
If this one doesn't pan out there will be others no doubt when the oppurtunity presents itself.

If you want more money for mercs, then you are in fact recomending less MU funding. Do you even realize how trivial our funding is to have any impact on infrastructure upgrades?
We are getting enough funding to buy about one Saltpeter mine a month. MU's are our mercs.
So in one year, you'll have enough salty peters to supply one employee.
I haven't even layed out the plan of action yet so keep speculating and critisizing it adds to my ego.

It's a nice change to see an administration hit the ground running. It feels as if Rylde and his ministers have done more in a few days then the past four administrations combined.

Since you are using CAF as an example...if you are looking to be self sufficient on Q7 (Q6 is more likely, but less damage output which isn't optimal):
They supply 150 soldiers.
If each member got lets say 7 Q7's, that's 1050 Q7's.
That equals out to 75 instances of an employee working.
That means you will also need 210,000 WRM per total batch.
Which therefore means you need 857 saltpeter mines - not to mention 8 Q7 companies.
Based on latest CAF report, they have 2 Q7's, 2 Q6's, and 20 saltpeter.
They need to spend ~ 5780 gold and 7 114 500 CAD to be able to provide 7 Q7 per member, per day.
Of course, they can supply less per day, or every other day / any other set up but then you are effectively removing a lot of base supply from the average player. Even if 100 of the 150 in the CAF merely two click and are in D2, then by cutting their supplies you can be eliminating millions of damage right there.
It's just not feasible when the effective cost to the MU to self sufficiently supply a single member with Q7's is around 70 CAD per day worth of WRM, not to mention the inital WRM/Weap Factory cost.
I mean...a single saltpeter mine right now takes 694 days of production just to break even.

MUs that do provide Q7s to members in a sustainable manner are a blessing to eCanada. However, Govt Funding will never get the rest of us to that point, sadly.
And at the same point tho, why invest millions of CC to be self sufficient on inferior weapons? I am curious as to what point the cost of Q6 self sufficiency equals out to how many weeks (or years, likely) of MU funding transfers.
Would maybe Rubber plants be better for getting closer to self sufficiency? I thought they were most efficient and create a lot more than Saltpeter.

Rubber Plant is probably the best based on the fact you can get 4 employees, which would mean:
You would produce 1750 WRM per day on a 35 gold (currently 12 250 initial investment) which would pay itself off in 140 days assuming its minimum wage.
Aluminum mines at 10 gold are more cost effective than Saltpeter atm, which would become 'profitable' after 200 days.
Only thing is...based on the last two MU tranfers only the CAF and COI could afford to buy a Rubber Plant, and they could only get one. Which mean mean in a 30 day period they may be able to get two. So only several years wait and we'll be all set! (until Q8's that is!)
Obviously the govt can't afford to get MU's Q7. Its a basic program that will sell some MU bonds paying interest to buyers. Gold made ont eh bonds would go to the MU's citizens to buy them basic WRM companies to take some of the load off.
Its still in discussion stage and were trying to make something work.
I know this may be a stupid question, But who are we preparing to fight?
Why not blanket trade barriers? Today we have a Greek MU member who has American citizenship in our market. We have enough production in this country.
Bonds are a wonderful idea, so long as they're all kept track of.
