[CP] Update for Day 1767

My fellow eIndians,
I apologise for my recent absence. An internet outage on my campus, coupled with repair efforts being impeded by the strike as well as Ganesh Chaturti (I hope you guys had a fantastic festival) seriously impeded my efforts in that regard.

However, I'm certain that Samnomix, Asmita and Rebelash have done much better without me than they would have done with me around. 😛
RETENTION, BRATS and NEW CITIZEN MESSAGE
As you all are probably aware, xordin has done a fantastic job of creating the BRATS MU, and I urge all citizens in Division 1 and 2 to run across to his this MU immediately. This will provide a vehicle to encourage and create community for all the new players.

However, getting new players into the MU might be difficult; but the game mechanic provides us with the New Citizen message to accomplish exactly that. This is what I'm planning to make it - kindly post comments/suggestions/modifications in the comments, I'll change it accordingly based on your response.

"We, the citizens of eIndia, welcome you to eRepublik. Your presence in eIndia is of great importance to us.

India needs a lot of new players like you to build up into a powerful nation. Population determines strength in this game, and we lack the numbers to have a real impact in this game. We need players to be active in politics, military and media and help eIndia transform into a superpower.
We have lots of programs to help you become stronger and grow faster into the game. For that, you need to join the eIndian community!

THE 'PTO'
Restive's article, the slew of comments and the responses, etc. did invigorate the Indian media. However, I see that in hindsight that my response could have been more dignified. However, I am not quite so apologetic about the actions we took to ensure safer PP elections - given the new changes in the Political Module, I am even more certain that our actions were justified. I hope that eIndia will understand. Restive has every opportunity to join our vibrant community and reap the benefits of that - but until we see that effort to become part of it, we continue, unfortunately, to keep the right to block those that we cannot trust.

We are working on a statement of accounts that should be coming soon, as well as updates on our work towards reforming the dispatch system. We're looking at making sure that everyone gets the resources to perform their Daily Orders, at the very least - with the best weapons, if we can provide them. I shall accomplish these things. We're halfway through my term, and I intend to see a new eIndia when I am done with this one. And it's all going to be possible.
