[CP] treaty with UK, New VP, National Strike etc...

VP:

As I pointed out in my last article I was looking for a new vice president and after considering a few suitable candidates I have decided on Damhnaic (our current MoC) . Its safe to say he has done great work this term and could do with the the extra experience. He will of course be continuing his role as MoC so don't worry you won't be missing on anything.

UK Treaty:

A few days ago irish congress passed a new Ire-UK treaty and we have just received confirmation that eUK congress has passed the new treaty as well. sawc has published an article with the full terms etc here however it is more or less the same as the old treaty apart from the regions involved.
We will occupy the regions of Northern Ireland and Scotland, while eUK will occupy Louth and Wexford. So for those of you asking, yes Dublin will be returned to us.
I would ask you though not to rw Dublin until UK has occupied louth and Wexford (only another day or two).

Minister of Community


For the those of you who do not know, recently we have worked with the MoC to compose a short survey to get your opinion on everything. If you have not completed it yet please do so asap. You can see the survey linked in the MoC article here. I have already been reading some of the comments and I realise there are many places we can improve on.
The minister of Community will be publishing full results in a few days. 🙂

National Strike:


For those of you who do not know, we are organising our first national strike tomorrow on #eire.military (1765) at 12:00 erepublik time and will kick off around 12:30. This week it will be dedicated to long term eIrishman
James Keiller as he will soon reach God of War rank. So please log on and make your country proud. (we will decide who we are hitting closer to the time).

Communication:



From public comments and from survey results I have realised that i have not been living up to the standard of communication promised. For this I apologise and have taken immediate steps to improve communication. We have set up a Party president council thread so every party has a say in current affairs, we have also set up a war council of the top 3 MU's and we have the usual congress thread. I also will be publishing articles on a more regular basis and if any citizen wants to contact me with questions etc. simply pm me or chat me on irc, I am more than happy to help. 🙂

Plans coming up:

At the moment we are working with commander Thanatos the Magnificent on revamping the national MU(irisharmy). to make it more attractive to be a member of. Regiments are already mostly separated by Divisions (there may be a few mixed up however that will be sorted out soon) and we are working on the infrastructure etc.

DreadedEstate is also working on a new Bootcamp grant that will hopefully be available soon for dedicated bootcamp members. We will also be making a big push soon for MU's to transfer all their Div1's to Bootcamp and to encourage new players to join.

We are working on improving activity in our main irc #Ireland however that will more than likely be after the survey results and we are working on getting a new forum depending on how the results of the MoC turn out.

We will also be working on a few other issues that show up from the MoC results later on in the week. 🙂
