Hello!

We are facing many talks about possible PTO attempts in Norway, mainly in these Party President elections.

We have to take care when we talk about this subject, because it is grave and I personally don't like to incriminate anyone without being sure of it.

It seems our country needs a better control of Political candidates, since we have few citizens, and our parties can be taken over without great efforts by PTOers. We need to avoid it, but as I said I'm not here to accuse anyone.

Our vMoFA, babk, came with an idea of naming a National Commitee in beginning of each term by the government.

We are not in the really beginning of term anymore, but I agreed we shoud have this comittee formed now.

The National Committee

"National Committee" is composed by trustworthy citizens who have proven to be loyal to eNorway in the long run. This committee should be chosen by the government in the beginning of each term and consist of 1-2 members from each party in eNorway.

Its tasks are:

1. act like an election committee and issue statements before Party President, Congress and Presidential elections including warnings.

2. act as an ombudsman for internal issues and conflicts between parties or characters that come into public.

I'd like to say that this is not censorship, and our intent is to avoid PTO attempts in a more discrete and effective way.

I suppose you meant my articles and I am sorry if I personally insulted somebody with them. I do not wish to incriminate any one as well and I realise that such committee would be a far better option that public accuses on the media. However, I think I was right about those multiaccounts, so I feel at least partly satisfied with my action.

I approve your idea with all my heart! I hope it works! This would be one of Norway's best initiatives!

PS - I know that I have not proven myself enough yet, but when I qualify as a trustworthy and loyal player, I would gladly participate.

You are free to say whatever you want, Jochen. It is your opinion and you can always express it. I however cannot do the same, as I'm the Country President, which is a delicate position - I need to but sure before saying what I just think or not. I'm glad you like the committee and I don't see any problem on you applying, since you demostrate to be very concerned about this subject.

I started something similar, a long time ago, when PTO was the standard,
I called it N.I.E.T. Norsk Intern Etterretnings Tjeneste. 🙂

For what its worth, I am not offended by any of this. It is my own fault for not remembering to run for the PP election. Elections sometimes feels like "oh, its that time of the month - again". While it is possible sunflower ran as a newb, it is 100% n00b by me to not remember to run myself. lol

Sure, rally up some players who can organize the elections. I once spent time keeping elections.erepublik.no up to date, but that has since stranded....

YOU NEED not a better control of Political candidates, but Baby boom. So put your "asses" in the air and invite some newp layers🙂. Because now it looks like Norway is a poor country like Somali or North korea. Looks like that even North korea peoples have more internet oportiunities to use than Norway.😁
