Greetings Ireland,
You may have noticed a recent NE Proposal for Poland. Well I come to you today to announce that the Government has been preparing for this eventuality incase it should happen, so if this NE passes know this, we will be ready. Now all TDs have been warned that this means we'll likely get wiped, but it also means we'll be standing up for our allies in Canada and Portugal. I do not oppose this war, but everyone needs to be aware of the risks. We'll fight gallantly and work to stand by our friends in their time of need, but we will very likely be occupied for a long time. Regardless we have the guts to take this forward and work through this war. Moreso, we have several friends beside us as well and I hope more come if this proceeds.
This will be a rocky road, but we can prevail, and even if we get wiped, so what. Being wiped is not the worst thing that can happen to us and I hope this war galvanizes and strengthens our community. Should this pass I will be appointing a specific MoD simply to oversee the Poland Campaign and a specific MoFA to coordinate allied cooperation and effort. There is much to be done and we have miles to go, but we can succeed even in spite of the odds.
I will have an elaboration on plans and those financial statistics for publish later in the evening, I apologize for that, but I stayed up all night working as I had a clue this NE may happen or become necessary. Please express your opinion here so your Congressmen can see it as no War can be successful without your support. If the Peopl and the Dail choose it then let us go on the Rocky Road to Poland and show them what Irish Spirit is all about.

Wtf ronisu? Is this really the best war EDEN will give us?
Man, KDOG thinks we will get wiped so bad we have to start a new game. Not very optimistic.
There is a chance we may not get wiped. A massive power failure in Poland could theoretically allow us to win. lol
Ronisu is correct that getting wiped isn't the worst thing that could happen. We just have to remember that it will entail a lot of name calling and arguing. MORE than normal for Ireland. Until we get back on our feet it will be hell around here.
But if my fellow Irish want to go down that road I will gladly walk down that road by their sides.

Joey, you are simply a naysayer. This isn't an EDEN War, this is an Irish War. I hope if it gets declared that EDEN supports us, but if they don't it is still our war. You are just looking for things to complain about rather than working on the here and now, IRR has proposed an NE that is picking up steam and your government was on it's feet enough to have plans in place.

@Mike, they won't be wiped long if they use Scottish warriors. We've never been conquered militarily after all.
@Ronisu, in no way do i enjoy looking for things to complain about. So this war isn't EDEN supported? HOW IS THIS AN IRISH WAR? Poland did nothing against us. They are fighting in other countries!
If EDEN didn't approve this war then this just looks like you pushiung the war button where we can to keep your promise for war. It looks now like Ireland will be wiped for months because YOU couldn't get the war you promised.

@Chew We have never been taken over militarily.. like I said. England has never conquered Scotland militarily. Even the Romans themselves were too scared to step foot in Alba after they took over England. 🙂

Hmm. Right, first of all with 34 votes in the percentages in are 61.76% for and 38.24% against. Does congress know that you need a 66% majority? If I remember from the drop-outs we have lost 3 congressmen, so by my calculations the max % will be 64.86% meaning the motion will not carry.

Last comment. We've had a serious talent drain of our Croatian Heavy Weight tank division in the last two weeks. I've gone from eIreland rank #70 to #55 implying that 15 players of level 36+ have left the country. At optimum, that's about 20-25m worth of damage down the drain.
The kind of damage that wins campaigns..

Going to war with Poland would be the height of stupidity.
I see no pressing purpose or need to make such a big, risky move that we will be lucky if we don't get wiped out from. Reckless choice by all supporters in congress and the cabinet.
