We now close out yet another Dail term. I thank the Dail for it's service this month and look forward to working with the new Dail to try to achieve more for Ireland. This Dail term was less eventful than the last, but even so we had numerous pages of communication and discourse over the term. I congratulate Ireland for selecting such a wide variety of voices and hope that this trend will continue in the elections today.

Speaking of the elections today, I wish each and every candidate good luck in their races. It is good to see the IUP make a showing again and I look forward to writing my regular analysis of the election. The new Dail will have quite a bit of excitement I do believe as there are pending proposals for a Training War, several other reforms, and a new immigration system set to begin discussion soon. As many of these issues proceed, I expect them to enter the public discourse almost immediately after Dail votes.
