[CP] State of eIndia & Updated Executive Cabinet and Staff Listing

Day 2,151, 08:42 Published in India India by Satya Yuga

We are entering the fifth day of this Country Presidential term and the Ministers in the Executive Cabinet have been appointing their Staff and creating their Ministry message threads to communicate among themselves to get work done. We are seeing progress in the form of articles and -- in regards to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs -- communication with other countries. The Ministry of Defense has been working on picking away at Albania's Defense Shield. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is coming up with a solid plan regarding their responsibilities. The Ministry of Education, in addition to taking on the responsibilities of Babyboom and Retention, will be hosting weekly contests starting each Monday. The Ministry of the Media is also hosting its own Media Contest. I am filled with pride to see things coming together.

If there is anybody or anything that I have missed, I blame the sheer volume of things being accomplished and my crap memory. =^)

If that is the case, you have my apologies.

The major changes you will see in the listing below are as follows:

[1] GouthamKrishnan taking over as Minister of Internal Affairs with ANANTHAKRISHNAN moving to a Deputy position, due to time limitations that he has recently encountered. I am glad he came forward to me with this as we all know that RL >> eLife and I would hate to see him suffer the detriment of the increased responsibilities that we will see the Ministries of Babyboom and Retention, Education and Internal Affairs undergo as we work to sort out their responsibilities -- removing any duplication of effort that is occurring among them.

[2] Deputy Ministers and/or Staff have been added to most of the Ministries.

In postscript, for all those who have messaged me introducing themselves and have yet to receive a reply, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm approaching my responsibilities with a triage philosophy. For those, not familiar with it:

Black / Expectant: They are so severely injured that they will die of their injuries, possibly in hours or days (large-area burns, severe trauma, lethal radiation dose), or in life-threatening medical crisis that they are unlikely to survive given the care available (cardiac arrest, septic shock, severe head or chest wounds); their treatment is usually palliative, such as being given painkillers, to reduce suffering.

Red / Immediate: They require immediate surgery or other life-saving intervention, and have first priority for surgical teams or transport to advanced facilities; they "cannot wait" but are likely to survive with immediate treatment.

Yellow / Observation: Their condition is stable for the moment but requires watching by trained persons and frequent re-triage, will need hospital care (and would receive immediate priority care under "normal" circumstances).

Green / Wait (walking wounded): They will require a doctor's care in several hours or days but not immediately, may wait for a number of hours or be told to go home and come back the next day (broken bones without compound fractures, many soft tissue injuries).

White / Dismiss (walking wounded): They have minor injuries; first aid and home care are sufficient, a doctor's care is not required. Injuries are along the lines of cuts and scrapes, or minor burns.
