It's something decent humans do to provide evidence of a result. Otherwise people can call you out for being a dictator who selects his favourite person taking part.
I agree with Rusty D here, it's super shady. I expected better from you Trito.
If Trito wanted to select the winner, he could keeping generating numbers until he gets the ones he wanted and then screenshots. You'll just have to take him at his word, or don't buy in.
